Impressive, specially when compared to more expensive the top brands
Don't let the price fool you. This filament is awesome and that's after having tried LOADS of different brands/settings. This easily compares and outperforms ones that I bought for twice the price. Worth every penny IMHO and fares very well on large prints as well as on small ones. For my profile I'm using a 0.8 nozzle:- Layer Height: 0.5- Line Width: 0.9- Temperature: 240- Initial Temperature: 230- Final Temperature: 225Things that I really like:- Stringing is minimal compared to other brands- Bed and layer adhesion are great if you don't go too crazy with your layer height- Final strength is brilliant. I use this to print my 3d Printer parts- Heat resistance is also quite good. I've used it for a motor mount (that gets hot) and it's not deformed so far!- Filament behaviour is pretty uniform across large surfaces, which is great- I've never had a badly wound spool so far from Geetech. Trust me the amount of wasted filament I've had due to badly wound spools for big projects has been a real headache and a huge waste of money for me in the past.

Great filament
Excellent choice of filament. Easy to use and not have any problems during printing. Great adhesion, neat winding, no stringing and smooth finish. Good price range for the quality. Colour is very nice too, perfect match for a project I was working on.

A nice quality glossy black filament
We ordered this Geeetech black PETG and it arrived a couple of days later via Prime. The filament came well packaged, vacuum sealed in a bag, within a protective cardboard box.It is black as described, the colour is solid and suitably dark. The appearance of the filament is smooth and consistent. There were no problems with our first print, the filament extruding well from our Geeetech A10.The resulting print has clean lines and the overall quality is good. The finish it quite glossy, compared to the black Geeetech PLA its slightly shinier. Our print was a chess piece, used as a demo as it has curves and slants. See photo for reference, the item in the background is the same model in PLA.We didnt perform a durability test against the PLA, however we can say that it appears strong enough and isnt brittle.Bed temperature: 70 deg CNozzle temperature 210 deg CSpeed: 80%Layer height: 0.15mm

Good value PETG
Seems to print just as well as the more well known brands and cheaper too.My only complaint was the first reel that I purchased I had to return for replacement. This was because the vacuum seal was punctured and I was not prepared to take the risk of being lumbered with damp filament from new (it could have been absorbing moisture for months while on the boat from China). The replacement reel was perfectly fine. I would have preferred that the seller checked the integrity of the inner vacuum packaging prior to despatch, as it would take them all of 5 seconds to do rather than me wasting my time and expense having to arrange for a replacement.

Pretty and interesting to print with
This is basically 3 filaments squooshed into one roll, and a cross section looks like an equal pie chart. the end result is, as you turn your print, you see the metallic shade change from gold to silver to.. a reddish gold? Its not really copper, or bronze, but it's pretty.I had to go with a real elephants foot of a first layer, as bed adhesion isn't amazing (common with silk pla), but layer to layer adhesion was great, with little artefacting. Printed it at 210, which is more at the high end, but i wanted to let any particles flow freely. Metallics can wreck cheap unhardened nozzles, and I'm not sure how those ones with the triple insert would affect the colour separation (feel it may swirl them too much), BUT this printed fine with no indication it was damaging. I'm about 3/4 of the way through a full size greco roman mask, and it's stunning.!

Why did I buy this?.. Again...
So, I've used Geeeeeetech filament before in the past, it was... a mistake. I don't know why I bought from them again, I must be going seanile. My main issue with it is that it's brittle. It'll constantly snap as it's being fed, leading to failed prints. This is consistent with the transparent one, but also happened with the previous Grey coloured one I used. Add on top the poor way in which it is spooled and you have tangles with brittle filament. Snap, snap, snap... Snap, snap snap snap... Absolute crap.It also strings like crazy, but requires a temp of around 210 - 215 to get good layer adhesion. At 190 - 205, stringing is reduced, but you can pull apart the layers with very little effort. Not good if you're wanting something structurally sound.Build plate adhesion has always been good. No complaints there, shame about everything else...I bought this transparent roll for some tiny parts I'm doing. They're single items, not complicated and easy to clean. The transparency of the filament is reasonable, it's not glass like, but it's also not frosted, it'll do.Overall, I don't recommend any of the Geetech filaments, it's cheap crap priced slightly higher than the Amazon brand which is significantly better in quality. Maybe I got 3 bad rolls, 3 years apart?.. Nah, it's cheap crap.
