These European toiletry products are classic. Their fragrance (citrus blend) is refreshing and uplifting. I've used it for over forty years. Thank you Amazon for having access to these products at a reasonable price.

I’ve loved this fragrance for decades. It always reminds me of getting lost in the Parisian narrow streets looking at the delightful minutiae that exists in every corner. It also gives me the same feeling of the Mediterranean of many years ago. When I purchase a bottle of Jean Marine Farine, it makes me go back on those trips. It’s a wonderful fragrance that takes my fantasies back to the bygone days. The new fragrances that are now named after a “movie star” or the such, are so terribly disappointing. It’s like wearing anything these people sell with their name and showing their name-label on the outside of the item, being a purse, a blouse, or whatever. Very gauche. However, I adore the bygone fragrances ... I adore their exclusive and secret recipes. They are very sensual.

Although I think the majority of products by Roget and Gallet smell good, this is one of the best. Clean, citrusy and subtle. The R&G soaps are my favorite, but this is one fragrance that is truly unisex and classic. I load up on their products when we go to France. I used to be able to find them in the US only online from Beauty Exclusive, but now I am very happy with Amazon for carrying this excellent brand.

Please allow me to explain the above title. Both this fragrance and 4711 are fantastic and they are both on my list of "must-wear's". However, I do not feel you need them both. Why? The two fragrances are incredibly close in smell. So close that five friends of mine who are"fragrance-aholics" could not tell which one of the particular two fragrances I was wearing. My friends also tried the comparison test on themselves figuring that maybe it was own body chemistry, but they all could not tell the difference between the two fragrances on themselves. My wife said that she could tell the difference just a very little and that Roger & Gallet smelled just a wee better. However, my wife went on to tell me that I could not buy both fragrances because the difference is two small to notice for the untrained nose. For all you Fragrance-aholics out their, if you want something unique to add to your list of favorite aftershaves, try "Floid" but only if you like the smell of an old world European barbershop (me personally, I love it!).

This bottle was leaking on my hands and the seller makes it impossible to get your money back, or the item replaced. It also smells cheap and doesn’t last long at all. Do not buy. I have to go to my bank now they are extremely rude

This perfume! I grew up with this perfume, I just had forgotten. Completely forgot the bottle! But I remembered the scent! And it's everything that it was and more, as it has all the childhood/adolescence memories bound to it.Fresh, light, and exotic! UNIQUE! And I think it'll work for both men and women. BIG THUMBS UP from me!

I first tried this scent while I was in Cologne, Germany. At first I did not like it, but after about 1/2 hour, I really did like it. When I found it here, I decided to order it. I still do not like it for the first 10 minutes but then the scent seems to change with my body chemistry and I like it. One big problem is that this scent does not last more then 1-2 hours. Almost like its a scented water. Definitely not a perfume. I'll finish it up and not order again,
