Excellent case.
So I bought and used a ZeroLemon 6000mhz charging case for my Note 8. It was my 1st product by them, and while it was good, the adapter that connected the phone to the battery was a separate piece that constantly fell out and got lost. To the companies credit, they sent me 3 replacement adapters in one bag. I now have owned this 10000mhz charging case for the Note 20 Ultra for over a month now, and man have their cases come a long way. The single biggest issue anyone would have with this case is its size. It is very large for a phone case, and triples the thickness and doubles the weight you will be lugging around with you everywhere. But, if you care far more about practicality over fashion or ease in carrying, then you will be completely happy with this case. This case does it absolutely all. You can use dex, usb C earbuds, or wirelessly charge your phone AND case with the case still on the phone. You could even hide a few folded up bills in the hollow compartment in the case (though I wouldn't count on constantly taking your Ultra out and putting it back in the case often, as it is not easy). Another underrated feature of this case is the fact that since the edges are so thick, you can stand the phone on any edge. This comes in handy when you want to be hands free, or when you use your s pen to control your camera to take pictures. Everything on the phone, camera, S pen, USB C port, speaker, and volume rocker and power button are easily accessible through the case. Just a powerhouse case overall. I want to take a minute to talk about other reviews.... I read every 1 star review and I can say that the vast majority are concerns that I have found to be issues with the user and not the case, and that you can buy this case confidently knowing that it will work and perform adequately. The biggest complaint is that the case wouldn't charge and had the 2nd and 3rd of the 4 led lights stuck on. ZeroLemon did a poor job of describing this and what it signifies in its manual as when it happened to me, I couldn't find it anywhere. I actually resolved the issue and learned what was happening. In order to use anything thats plugged into your Ultra through the USB C port, other than a charger (Dex, USB C earbuds, etc....) you have to turn on the pass-through mode on your case so that the data can pass through it to your phone. Unfortunately, while ZeroLemon touts this feature, they do a poor job of demonstrating HOW to enable it. You do this by tapping the case power button by the 4 led lights 2 times, after which the 2nd and 3rd lights come on. To turn it back to charger mode, you simply tap it twice again. This was confusing and so I thought I had a defective unit, as many of the people who left 1 star reviews did. This also highlights my one and only personal drawback to this case (other than the size, which doesn't bother me personally)...the power button on the case is too easy to turn on. They make it so you turn it on by pressing it 1 quick time, and you hold it down for 3 seconds to turn it off. They should reverse this, as I can't count how many times I accidentally turned the charger on and wasted the charge on the case battery because it was charging an already fully charged phone. Its tolerable, but an annoyance nonetheless. There was one 1 star review that said the case caused his phone to take bad pictures, and they even linked a pic, but this is impossible as the case in no way whatsoever covers the camera. In fact, it does a brilliant job of protecting the cameras without interference in the pictures. So anyway, all in all this is a highly functional case filled with as many frills as a phone case could have. Pros: wireless charging, dex, USB C pass through, rigid and substantive, small hideaway, phone stands on any edge, camera is effectively protected Cons: biggest cell phone case I've ever seen, power button can easily be bumped on...causing you to waste charge on an already charged phone, I know it says 10000mhz...but I feel like the charge should last longer. Don't get me wrong, it gives you at least 100% more juice on top of the phone battery itself, but it doesn't seem like the 170% they advertise. In my opinion the pros far outway the cons, and if bulk isn't a deal breaker for you, this is the best phone case I've ever owned.

Decent product excellent customer service!
Bought this 10 months ago, and have used it since it arrived. I have turned the performance of my phone all the way up, brightened the screen and extended the time out on the screen. In short I have been able to use the phone the way it was designed to be used. I stream music all day or books on tape. I have not once been caught with a dead battery. I charge it while I sleep, but have had several instances when I would use it all day, then catch a red eye flight, and woked into the next day... still not enough to drain the battery. The critical part of my review is that the phone can't use the reverse charging feature so I can't charge my watch from the phone without Removing the case. Also if the button to turn on the charge gets pushed in your pocket when the phone is already charged, it wastes battery. People complain about the size, I really like that about it, it makes the phone usable. What I mean is, that the phone without a case is far to slippery, and thin, and more than half the surface area is touch screen... easy to fumble or drop, or hit the wrong thing on the screen. The case makes it graspable, also I like that it isn't all curved and sleek because I can stand it up with out having to lean it or prop it against something. Now the part about customer service. I purchased this in October of 2020, and now in August of 2021 it began To act up... stops charging at random times even though it has battery left. I filed a ticket with zero lemon on their website, they responded quickly requesting a screenshot of .y invoice with the date of purchase. Etc. And have shipped a replacement the next business day. So if you are OK with the size, and the boxy shape (an asset in my opinion) and don't mind that you lose the reverse charging feature and the 45w super fast charge ( which is for people who don't have a ginormous battery and need to charge while they are awake) then I absolutely recommend this! Oh.. one more thing, the size (weight) makes it difficult to put in a car mount, but I find that it sets in the dash behind the wheel just fine on most cars.

The life of the case
I bought the product so I don't have to carry around a charger since I am a heavy phone user. I am on the road and travelling frequently and I use case for that matter. The case started working fine but stopped working 4 days after the 1 year period of warranty. Out of four lights on the back only one is working and you don't know whether the case is charging or not. The phone has stopped charging. I am a heavy but caring user of the phone ; and care enough of my products . I reached out to the customer care and they simply responded the warranty has been expired.. Now I know that they can't go beyond their warranty time to replace and it's very unfortunate thing to happen just after few days of warranty experiration date. But it also raises the question about the quality of a product and its longeitivity. If you are going to buy this do thorough research before throwing away your money. Make sure you can't go without this product or in my opinion you are going to be reinventing your money every year few days later after your warranty give or take few days or weeks. Zero lemon has lost my faith in their product.

Support review, update to original post.
So this has 2 items that seem to be of concern.... device protection and size. My thoughts on both: Protection: The bumpers around the edge of the device could be more robust. In no way are they inadequate. You are basically tripling the weight of your device in a compromise to get more battery life out of it and therefore if you drop it, the forces on the device at impact are logically going to be higher. This is common sense. If the manufacturer added massive protection to the device, it would make the device even larger and unwieldy. Additonally you would lose access to the edge features of the phone. Its not an otter box, not even close, but its not intended as such. Be careful with the device and dont drop it, the protection is a reasonable compromise for the offering, in my opinion. Size: The phone with the case installed is about the thickness of a hard pack of cigarettes. For women, it will not fit in a clutch or small purse but a small bag+ is fine. Women with skinny jeans, this will not fit in any pocket, period. Again, this was a design decision. You are compromising size for battery life and I dont mind the size as consturcted. I'm a male, 6' 2", 220lbs and I can place this in my left rear pocket of my loose fit jeans no problem. Front pocket is possible unless you wear skinny jeans but again, use a thin case for its purpose, this case for long haul or business when you need the extra power. The case is large, but there is no other way to package the battery technology available at this time in a smaller form factor. Overall I am happy with this purchase. The size and weight is a minor inconvenience to be able to crank up to 120hz, disable power saving mode, and turn off screen dimming... its like a new phone and is wonderful, I'll trade portability to allow the device to be the $1400 workhorse I paid for, any time. I would recommend if you are OK with the above stated. Good luck with your purchase and hope this helps. Update: Had an issue approx 9 months in with my phone not detecting the battery. Followed warranty procedures and was sent a new case inside 48 hours. Problem fixed, minimal hassle. Thank you Zerolemon.

It isn't terrible but it isn't as good as it could be.
I went in thinking that there would be an improvement from the last case I had gotten from ZeroLemon, which was the OG Pixel XL. And there were some, adding in wireless charging, fast charge passthrough and being able to use Android Auto with the case on. It is definitely a ThicccBoi at near an inch thick and over a pound with the phone inside. There is zero reason to use this case everyday unless you are away from any power source for at least 24 hours and HAVE to use your phone a lot. The Note 20 Ultra has pretty good battery life if you have the Snapdragon variant, so this is one of those "Disneyland or weekend trip" cases. While it is cumbersome, my complaints aren't with the size/weight. That's to be expected when slapping a battery case on your big phone. My issue is with the very inconsistent battery life. I bought this nearly 5 weeks ago and it is feast or famine with the battery life. I use my phone quite a bit due to the nature of my job. With that said, because I'm inside most of the time, and with brightness at 50% or so, the absolute max I have gotten out of this case was 40 hours of light to light-moderate use a couple of weeks ago when I took some time off work. On average, I get about 25 hours of use, and that includes 10 hours of downtime/sleep/etc where I'm not on my phone at all. With the optimizations of Android in the last 4 years, it's kinda wack sauce that I'm getting the same performance out of this case that has 1500mAh more battery than my OG Pixel XL case. I am very aware of the loss of power due to the transfer...but it shouldn't lose that much. If I had left my AOD on, I'd likely get less than a day. I will break this case out once a week for the rest of the year and see if the results hold or if it changes. But if you travel a lot or are out camping or something and are fine with this gargantuan phablet case...hard to argue with the extra battery life. ZeroLemon is pretty good at responding to issues and replacing cases as long as they are still being made; or my review would be more scathing and a lower score. Your results may vary. My average screen on time for the last month (only because I made a point to track it weekly) is about 11 hours a day. As I said, I am on my phone all day, everyday. So if you are on your phone not as much, you will likely see a different result. I forgot to mention I will turn off my wifi and only remember to turn it back on when trying to control my Hue lights or something similar. So if you remember to keep your wifi on, then likely you will see an improvement over what I have seen thus far. Granted, if you're looking for a behemoth of a case like this, then you may be using your phone as much as I am, and this is good info to have. Or at least I'd think so. Also also, when the packaging says to use the OG charger and cable, apparently they aren't kidding. I bought a longer braided C to C cable and it doesn't work, at all. Like "doesn't show that it's registering any power being delivered" doesn't work. The cable that comes with the phone is too short, and I have to take off the case to charge it, as it is impossible for me to charge and use the phone at the same time. I understand product safety, but if the cable is rated the same way as the OEM cable, no reason why it shouldn't be able to charge the case. That's a subjective gripe I have and will likely try to replace the cable to see if it somehow got damaged or something. TL;DR It's not a bad case, it will work for people who are moderate to moderate-heavy users. It's perfect for a cross country flight, or if you're in the passenger/back seat on a road trip. Or again, Disneyland case. If you are over 10 hours SOT daily, it may be useful but you may see it drain faster than you want. It's good though.

Excellent brand, amazing battery life, a bit blocky and uncomfortable to hold
This is my backup battery for when I really need the extra power. It is HUGE, blocky, bulky and barely fits in my pocket when on, but for that extra power and toughness, this is the one I go to. This is my second ZeroLemon product and both have been durable, maintenance free and dependable. I can't say that for all the battery cases I have bought, but this brand has been really consistent and reliable. I do wish they made the case a bit more streamlined, but if you have bigger hands (which I don't) and need something really durable for backup power, this is the battery case for you. I work on forest fires and when on fireline duty, I put this case on my phone. It is big enough to sit well in my Nomex pants pocket (which, if you have ever worn a pair, you know are HUGE) and the battery keeps my phone powered no matter how long I am on the line. It is also big and tough enough to handle being battered by brush and hand tools. I don't use it for every day because its so bulky, but when I need the power, I reach for my ZeroLemon.

Great company. Fantastic cases. This one though started off poor.
Been using Zero Lemon products since I believe the S5? These are solid chargeable cases. I love the reactions I get when people see me with my brick of a case. The ZeroLemonNote20 Ultra 10,000MAH case though has been poor for the first year of my owner ship compared to all other Phones I had with ZL cases. I wen't through 4 so far, with the first 3 having the same issues. Issue 1. Case would suddenly stop charging the phone. I see comments here mentioning the same thing. You'd press the button and it would charge for about 2 seconds and then stop charging. Users mention to dismantle the case, reposition the phone onto the C charger and reassemble to charge. Which fixes the issue, as inconvenient as it is. What is interesting me for though is this issue would only occur months after owner ship. Unsure why, but has happened to me 3 times so far. Each time I just ordered a new case. Did not bother contacting ZL out of respect for the company. PERSONAL Issue #2. This issue appears to be addressed with my 4th case now, but my previous models a single touch of the button would cause it to charge. Which honestly is a preference. However I can not tell you how many times I accidentally touched the power by putting my leg against a wall with the phone in my pocket, or putting down my phone where the power button gets hit. My 4th case now though upon reading the instructions now has the phone set to where you need to hold the button for 3 seconds to engage the charge, which to me is a major plus. I hope they also addressed whatever it is that causes the phone to randomly lose its charge ability, only to regain it when you re-adjust the phone. Either way I still give ZeroLemon 5/5 stars, but this case a 3/5. Still will always use ZL products just sad to see I've had a bad experience with their product for my Note20 Ultra. Though as I mentioned they appear to have a revised Note20 Ultra model now, and I have huge hopes for this one now

Huge case for a huge phone! 5 out of 5
I've been using Zerolemon battery cases and battery packs for over a decade now. I won't use any other company only because ZeroLemon backs up their claim of "ZERO LEMON" products! Now on to this battery case for the Note 20 Ultra 5G. Know what you are buying and getting yourself into before blindly buying this item and complaining about it later!! This is a MASSIVE 10,000 MAH battery with a thick rugged case to protect the battery and your phone! If you want thin, slip into your skinny jeans this is NOT the battery case for you!! If you HATE being held hostage by the charger this is the right battery case for you! I have my Note 20 Ultra setting on max performance and can go 2 full days with this battery case! I could squeeze a 3rd day but I don't want to risk being without juice in the middle of nowhere. I HIGHLY recommend ZeroLemon and this case if you LOVE huge, heavy, solid, rugged case that will charge your phone 2 full days and then some!
