Barkleys Black Licorice Candy, Licorice Pellets - Gluten Free Licorice, Vegan- Black Licorice Intense (1 Can x 16 gr.)

These are definitely the other type of licorice flavor, i.e. the flavor is not totally similar to Barkleys licorice pastilles, which are more like Brach's jelly beans in taste. These are on the verge of being almost, almost bitter, but they're not quite. I'd say, sure, it's "pure" licorice flavor. These last a while in your mouth, so there's plenty of enjoyment to be had in this small tin.

They Taste TERRRIBLE! I was expecting them to taste similar to the Vicks licorice cough drops when I was a kid, but they have a hint of licorice and chemicals with minimal sweetness. They're tiny pieces that are hard like rocks. Never again!

This product description says INTENSE FLAVOR. This description hits the nail directly on the head. This is the most overwhelming INTENSE licorice flavor i have ever experienced. This might work for cooking or baking as a flavor or candy making bit for me it does not work for what i thought it is. For me, it is not candy. The flavor is so strong it is over whelming. I can see this being used in baking or candy making.

These are the real thing. If you are looking for black licorice with the best ingredients, this is it. The quality is tops!

I was looking for Sen Sens, no longer manufactured. This was the suggestion. It is STRONG unsweetened licorice. Not for everyone. I'm still deciding. Well made and nicely packaged.

love. strong licorice flavor with strong mint over it. moistens the mouth, freshen your breath. if you like a good strong licorice flavor this may be for you. give em a try. you may be hooked too. oh, they are small. under one cm each bit. but its enough to do the trick. helps me in that last hour before dinner to not look for a snack too.

I love the regular size can of Barkley's licorice but all three or these flavors were terrible. I threw them away. Will stick to the original in the future.

Really good natural liquorice flavour, slightly sweet and no bitterness. Not as intense as I expected, just the same liquorice flavour I remember from my childhood but without the awful excess of sugar. I can easily manage 2 or 3 at a time but mindful that large amounts are not recommended try to stick to just one. Really tiny so even though small tin it is lasting really well, so overall very good value too.

This is awesome licorice!! One tiny pellet and the flavour is great! Vegan, GF, my dream candy. I will for sure buy again. Don’t underestimate the size of the box, it last a long time !!!
