Great product for the price!
I received these this morning. They're nice and bright and draw little current but be aware that if you plan on using the provided USB power source in stead of tapping in to a 5v source un your vehicle then there is quite a lot of feedback noise that comes from the provided transformer box. Also be aware these are a nasa orange more so than red. I prefer the color to a dark red. As I said the electrical feedback is enough feedback to alter audio system signals running nearbt. Without the box they're great! Bice little tab edging that slides surprising easily into tight and even sharp crevices. Will require snipping and/or hot glue for 90 degree corners. Great product for the price! I'll post pics once installed. Not powered yet but adds just the right amount of color.

Definitely a car must have!!
Definitely a great product for the price! I’ve had other models of el wire before but nothing compares to this! I love love LOVE that this one doesn’t have that buzzing or ringing sound that some have when I plugged them into my car. Color looks beautiful even mid day and definitely nice and bright at night! Installation was easy for the most part but every car has that one section that’s going to be difficult to get the wire to stay but besides that it was super fast to install!

Good for night time Ridesharing uber/lyft but...
The media could not be loaded. I love these EL WIRE lights this is my 5th ones I understand that they may have there downsides but there are just very cool I have many people asking about them...I get orange every time because my vehicles text accent the downside is that it fades in sun light even if I have a sunshade you can see from the pictures on where I usually get the most sun damage usually before I install them I treat the wire with uv products that I use for my dash hut it doesn't seem to be a prevention but a delay... as you can here the high pitch electrical feed back from the USB regulator with I have tucked under my carpet but I can still faintly here it but still I would buy again.

Really cool with some majors flaws.
Pros: Looks incredible and was a breeze to install. Easy to install and doesn't require any equipment or adhesives.Cons: After only 2 months it has begun to have dead spots. It showed up in a few areas where there is no bed and just runs along door trim. Flicking it makes it flicker in momentarily but it goes right back. Also, the power converter is noisy, even with an inline ground the system still whines along with the alternator ROM.Overall it's a cheap, fun kit but not worth it for how short it lasts.

Really Cool
I really like the way this installation turned out. I have been wanting this type lighting since I've seen it on some earlier car models I've been in. I never thought I would be able to have this feature in my 2011 Chevy Avalanche, until I came across these lighting strips on Amazon. The price was really reasonable and the installation seemed simple enough, so I thought I would give them a shot. I tested two colors, one transparent blue that was a close match to the interior dash colors, and one soft white. I went with the soft white because I thought it complemented the tan interior of the truck better. For me to make the installation as professional as I could, it did require me to take apart door panels and loosen part of the dash. There were, also, a couple areas that required me to glue to position. These were areas like above the glove compartment and below the steering wheel. In those two areas, there are no dash seems to slide the edge into. The final challenge was to figure out how I would power them. This part was tricky because I'm chancing my long term success by splicing into existing wires. One of the things I have found is that on most newer vehicles, splicing in to the existing system is discouraged. I really wanted these lights to work in concert with the trucks dash lights so I took a chance and spliced into that system. So far, it has been total success. The lights come on when the interior lights are on at night. They will even dim when I dim the dash lights. I don't know the longevity of these lights, but I'm crossing my fingers that they give me long term service. As of now, I am definitely giving 5 stars. M.Best has even been great on the shipping time as well as accepting the return of the ones not used. I'll update as time goes on.

Best one on Amazon
The media could not be loaded. So I was skeptical to buy this on Amazon becuz it seems all the reviews said the color was off or the annoying coming from the box. But I’m guessing it’s hit or Miss for some folks because my wire was perfect a bright red and there was zero buzz/noise from the fuse box. Super easy install. Literally took me 15-20 tops. No extra tools needed at all. Very satisfied. Great price. Highly recommend this el wire over others being sold on Amazon. I did not hard wire but the usb option was perfect in my Dodge Charger. Tucked wires to perfection and clean job overall.

Buyer beware - short life
Product was "okay" when new. Wasn't super bright, but the color was crisp. Transformer made a whining noise, but I'm told that it's "normal." I've had the product installed for about a year, and used it less than 1,000 hours. The color is fading fast in some parts (the orange is now pink), and the light is very dim (cannot see unless pitch black).Seller has said that this is normal. So, be aware that this is a very temporary product. Do not buy if you want something long lasting or high quality.

Worth buying once
At first it looks a bit orange out of ther box, I ordered red, but at night it was red enough that i liked it a lot. Unfortunately there's a short in the wiring right where the colored part meets the charge/ plug in cord and the second time i went to reroute it to put it around all the vents, it no longer turns on. I tried everything, including trying to redo wire connection, as the date was Feb 16 and the return by date is Jan 31! I'm really very bummed. I'm gonna try a different one as there are a couple other things I think weren't quite what i was thinking and maybe something else will work better for my vision. It's worth the price, once.
