8 Pin Lightning Bluetooth Adaptor
This works well and allowed me to save my Bose wedge with lightning plug. I now have a great Bluetooth stereo for my garage. I had previously saved a Bose wedge with a 30 pin bluetooth receiver. That adapter was 12.99. This one was $59. The price was alarming but I saw no other options listed.

Buy this for your Bose Sound Dock 3!
OhMyGod! After trying 2 other products that said they were compatible (they weren’t), THIS item makes my wonderful Bose Sound Dock 3 bluetooth compatible. The pairing is seamless and the sound is Bose quality. This is worth every penny!

Saved my Bose Sounddock from the boneyard
I bought the 8-pin adapter 4 years ago, and it's functioning better than ever. I'm hoping there will be a "next" generation adapter that will feature Airplay 2 functionality so I can add my Bose Sounddock Series III speaker to my home's Airplay speakers.
