Great functionality, very satisfying mouse!!
Just got this mouse today and already love it. Extremely smooth, love the hand feel and materials. The forward/back buttons on thumb are awesome, and love the hidden thumb button. Wireless bluetooth connectivity is seamless for my Mac and the logitech app is great for integrating multiple product and customizing function. Scroll wheel has the infinite scroll option which I was missing on my previous mice. Everything about this mouse is satisfying and I like its simplistic/clean look compared to more expensive complex models. Highly recommend.

Logitech M720 Mouse Continues the Quality Experience Legacy
This mouse is impressive. It is simple to use, connects flawlessly, and has great battery life. The mouse works on both wood surfaces and mouse pads, with my preference being a mouse pad. A mouse pad is not always an option for me, so top performance across multiple surfaces is essential, and the Logitech M720 delivers. Speaking of Logitech, I've been using their keyboards and mice for many years and have been very satisfied with their performance, which is what drove me to buy this Logitech M720 to go with a new laptop. The M720 continues the Logitech quality experience legacy.

Great mouse
Great mouse, easy to use, lots of features that I still have to learn. Only downside for me is the clicking is a little loud. But I love the feel, movement and the size is great for me. Easy to connect to cpu

Double Click Issue
PROS: Great mouse, that put in a good amount of mileage. But I have older mouse with logitech that still works, so I can't fully excuse it. However, when it was working, it was amazing. I loved the hyperscroll feature. All logitech mouse going forward should implement hyper scrolling, and it also could side scroll. 6 stars out of 5, just for those 2 features alone. I was even able to play FPS with it just fine as well, with no random disconnects. MEHS: But the extra button near the thumb was too sensitive, luckily you can just turn it off with the soft ware. Being able to connect to 3 devices is nice, but I only used it for 2, but the connector would still connect to 3, so I have to like double tap it. This mouse is also not logi bolt compatible. CONS: Anyways, the reason why it is not a full 5 star isn't because of the above. I ran into the double click issue with this mouse. You go in for a single click, and it start a double clicking. I tried every trouble shooting step imaginable, even the hold the mouse left click for 10 seconds. WARRANTY: I would still highly recommend this mouse to anyone, especially because it has a nice price point. But make sure you add extra warranty at check out.

Great mouse, you will be happy with this
I have used Logitech products for a long time and I recently decided thst I wanted a mouse that I could use with multiple devices vs having a couple for my different computers. This mouse performs just as I expected. Honestly using this for a few weeks I haven't really come up with a negative for it unless you think not knowing what to have all the buttons do is a negative. The color is as expected, and the overall design is great, especially if you are looking for ergonomic mice. My hand is a little bigger, so the size for this mouse would be for medium or small handled people, but it still fits fine for my hand. Not very noisy either and it is as accurate as you would expect for a mouse. I only use the Bluetooth function not the USB and there is no lag with getting it to connect when you switch devices. Overall very happy with this, and got it on sale too so even happier. I have used this for some gaming and it works well for thst too.

A Reliable Companion for Work and Travel
After years of searching for the perfect wireless mouse, I can confidently say the Logitech M720 Triathlon stands out as one of the most reliable and versatile options available. Having used this mouse daily for over four years, its durability and performance have thoroughly impressed me—so much so that when it was finally time to upgrade, I purchased the very same model again without hesitation. What truly sets the M720 apart is its seamless device switching. The quick sync feature lets me effortlessly toggle between multiple devices on the fly, making it ideal for multitaskers who move between laptops, desktops, or tablets. The fast-scrolling wheel is a joy to use, allowing for quick navigation through long documents or web pages, while the ergonomic shape ensures comfort even after hours of use. Whether for personal or professional tasks, in or out of the office, the M720 adapts beautifully. It’s compact and lightweight, making it super easy to pack away for travel or remote workdays. Overall, I highly recommend the Logitech M720 Triathlon Wireless Mouse for anyone seeking reliability, convenience, and outstanding performance. It’s a smart investment that continues to deliver, day in and day out.

I love this mouse! Best mouse I've ever had.
This mouse is awesome! I did get a defective unit when I first bought it (the scroll wheel was malfunctioning), but Amazon replaced it and the replacement has been working perfectly for 11 months now. Having Bluetooth support for 3 devices is SO convenient. I currently have it paired with two different laptops and a Fire TV device, and can switch between all 3 devices at the touch of a button. (Amazing how useful a real mouse can be on a Fire TV device when using Android apps not designed for remote controls!) While this mouse comes with a USB dongle, I haven't needed it. I've spent over 30 years in IT and, of course, I've owned and used countless different mice over the years. Mechanical mice, Sun Microsystems optical mice that required a special mouse pad, optical mice, etc. The Logitech M720 is my favorite of them all, hands down. The size and shape fits my hand perfectly. (It might not work as well for those with small hands.) My only nitpick is that I find it way too easy to press the hidden thumb button by accident; I wish it required more force to activate. But I just mapped that button to do nothing, which solved the problem for me. One special note I'd like to add. One of the laptops I'm using with this mouse is my new MacBook Pro. I hate Apple's idea of "natural" scroll direction for a mouse scroll wheel; it's opposite from windows and feels completely non-intuitive to me. I certainly don't want to have it different from my Windows laptop. However, Apple's preferences settings are badly designed -- they don't allow you to set the scroll direction independently for the mouse and trackpad! On the trackpad, the "natural" scroll direction is good. On the mouse, it's bad. Apple forces you to choose both at the same time and doesn't provide the ability to use "natural" scroll direction on the trackpad and Windows-compatible on the mouse. However, Logitech's software FIXES this user interface disaster! After I installed the "Logitech Options" software for MacOS, it has its own UI and settings for the mouse, and defaults scroll direction to "standard" instead of "natural", while the trackpad continues to use "natural" scrolling. Now the mouse and trackpad both scroll the same direction on my MacBook and on my Windows laptop. Woohoo!

Comfortable feeling and well-built with useful features.
The search for a new mouse was more frustrating than I'd anticipated. Reviews are always all over the place. And many reviewers act as if their experience is the default, even if their issues are clearly PEBKAC. "I had a bad time, so this company/product is obviously bad, and you too will have a bad time." So, I'll try to be as straightforward as possible with my observations on this one. Feel: The ergonomics are pleasant, and the weight is assuring. "Real gamers" may look for something lighter, but the added weight of the battery makes it easier for me to control. LMB and RMB are easy to press without feeling flimsy. I'm 100% positive they won't get mangled with normal use, as one reviewer claimed. Wheel: One of my prerequisites was a scroll wheel that provided both notched and free-spin scrolling. My only complaint is the wheel needs to be either in notched mode or braced by a finger when not in use because the weight causes it to roll slightly when moving the mouse around. However, it does spin really, really fast, lol. Pairing: RF and BT connectivity are both solid. I've paired this to multiple computers in a mix of OSes (Win10, Win11, Ubuntu 22.04, and Budgie 22.04) and BT and RF connections. Switching between them works flawlessly. Complaints: There are a few quirks, but they're not deal-breakers for me or even enough to dock a star. There is a button embedded in the thumb rest whose default function is to bring up the window switcher (like holding alt+tab). This is easy to depress if your grip gets tense. Additionally, the "switch device" button is right next to the page-back button. I've only accidentally pressed it 4-5 times, but it is a possibility. However, actually switching devices requires two presses, so it was not interruptive. Bottom line: If it's in your price range and you're on the fence, this stranger on the internet recommends giving it a shot. Amazon returns are easy anyway.
