I bought this bee suit for my 7 year old son. It fits him well and protects him from our bees. As of now, he has not had any stings through the suit. It gives him the confidence to get out and learn and help me in the apiary. For the price, it is great. I highly recommend it.

Armed with determination and my trusty 2x4, I embarked on a mission to remove a massive hive from my property. Amidst the chaos, the bee suit I donned proved to be a game-changer, offering unparalleled protection and ensuring my safety throughout the endeavor. I was removing a massive hive for 30 minutes without a single bite. Durability and Protection: 5/5 From the moment I zipped up the bee suit, I was impressed by its robust construction. The suit held up exceptionally well as I maneuvered around the hive, even with a 2x4 in hand I used to scrape the hive off the bottom of my deck. Notably, not a single bee managed to penetrate the suit's defenses, despite my proximity to their hive and the forceful expulsion of parts of the nest. Hood Design and Accessories: 4.5/5 Wearing a baseball cap under the hood, as suggested by fellow bee warriors, provided an extra layer of protection for my head and face. The hood effectively shielded me from potential stings, although an adjustable tightening mechanism would be a useful addition for a more customized fit. Comfort and Layering: 4/5 Layering proved to be a strategic choice. The thick Carhartt jacket, combined with work jeans, enhanced insulation without compromising mobility. The extra layers, along with duct tape sealing on gloves and ankles, contributed significantly to the suit's effectiveness in keeping the hornets at bay. However, an additional inner lining for added comfort during prolonged use would be appreciated. Ease of Use: 4/5 The bee suit was relatively easy to put on and take off, even under the circumstances of a bee removal operation. The zipper mechanism held up well, and the suit's sizing proved accurate for a comfortable fit over my clothing. In conclusion, the bee suit I used during my yellow jacket nest removal proved itself as a stalwart defender against nature's fierce inhabitants. Its durability, effective hood design, and compatibility with additional layers of clothing are commendable features. While some minor enhancements could elevate its comfort level, the bee suit exceeded my expectations in delivering the protection and peace of mind needed for such daring undertakings.

The suit is well made. Would have gotten 5 stars except the suit runs small for a 3XL. I’m 6’1” 270lbs, the description says it’ll fit 6’3”to 6’8” and there’s no way this will fit a 6’3” person because I could barely get in it. Once in the suit it was very tight in the crotch. Other than that it fit well. I know nothing about bee suits if this is the real deal or not but it served its purpose when I sprayed a hornets nest the size of a large watermelon (at night) the hornets came at me but I don’t know if they tried to sting me or not. FYI the suit is for honey bees not hornets or wasps, their stingers are longer. I think I got lucky. If you’re using for hornets nest removal I recommend do your research and wear a couple layers of clothing under this suit for extra protection

Exactly what I needed for my wasps issue! I had to take matters in to my own hands as wasps had nested under the siding of my house. An exterminator could only spray so much and can't/won't remove house siding. I needed something affordable and functional for a one time use (hopefully) and it did the job. Not one sting. I felt comfortable and safe. I'll keep it around in case the wasps come back plus the wife said I can wear it as a Halloween costume next year lol

I had several yellow jacket nests in the ground. I was bitten six or seven times when I was cutting grass unaware that they were there when I called for exterminator price I decided to purchase this and use spray foam in the nest myself. It was fantastic. I did not get stung worth the $50 for the suit as opposed to having an exterminator charge you $400. It’s a win-win.

This bee suit works well. It's a bit too long for my height of 5'2" but I bought a bigger size so it would be loose on my body, and therefore harder for a stinger to stab through. The material is thick and tough. I love the way the screen and hood stay zipped on so no stinging insects can get inside. It has good zippers, nice gloves. I bought it to wear while destroying a yellow jacket nest on my porch. I'm very pleased with this suit.

The sizing chart is really accurate. Gloves are tight but fit. I'm not expert but seems to be a good beginner bee suit.

Llegó como esperado, sí defiende de las abejas, de hecho lo usé para quitar un panal que tenía en la casa. Nada más sugiero poner en la cabeza una gorra para mejor protección y poner una mascarilla que cubra la boca y la nariz ya que la parte del traje que se pone en la cabeza tiene enfrente una red que podría rozar la nariz y si no tienes protección te van a picar. Por otra parte la medida es para una persona normal que mide hasta 1.80. Más grande no cabes.

Me gustó que llego rápido, lo vi grande pero me quedo bien ya puesto, y las abejas ahora si me hacen los mandados cuando voy por la miel, antes me iba así sin nada pero esto ayuda que no se me cierre la garganta como antes cuando me picaban cuando iba con Manolo al cerro por la miel

I'm normally a medium in regular clothes but I bought an extra large and if fits ok. Had a bunch of wasp nests in and around house and equipment on my property. This allowed me to take care of those and not get stung when swarmed.

Worked well for wasp nest removal. Didn’t feel any stings. Will be useful for future projects
