The book was a journey for me. It became a manual to write stories for the videos I shoot. I read some chapters often.

I read as well as listen this book. It helped me a lot to improve my storytelling in form of facebook post.

Have read half the book.....its been worth it for giving important frameworks for telling a story, with exercises to do daily. Am looking forward to implementing the teachings and see my audience responses.

Tgis book teaches you some sure shot ways to improve on your already existing stories. For example it tells you when to eliminate people from a story, when to tell the physical location where the story is happening and when not to get emotional while telling a story. All these pointers together will make your story more interesting and entertaining which will benefit you in a lot many ways. The second half of the book could have been a little shorter but you can always skim over it and enjoy this book anyways.

Loved reading this book. Matthew tells you what storytelling is by telling many of his stories. Lot of people think stories are not for them. Matthew convinces you that everyone could tell stories and gives you tools to generate your own stories. Use homework for life and come up with your own stories for any situation.

The writing is simple, yet effective. I wish this book was longer because it was so interesting. Whoever you are, whatever you do, storytelling can always be a part of your life. Do not miss this wonderful book.

Overall a nice read. Makes you appreciate every moment of the life.

I’m not a story teller. For me, This book is for anyone who wants to see more than a normal person would see in their day to day and cherish all the moments

This has so many good ideas! My daily writing has improved and increased with the ideas I am receiving from this book. It was recommended to me in a writing class, and it has made all the difference. Loved the stories, love the techniques I now use.

Great advice, very readable (he is a story teller after all! and he mixes in stories to show how they are set up). I used the exact set ups and methods he discusses in a workshop right after reading the book and multiple people came up and said they loved how I did it (normally I am an average presenter). About half way through he says something like "I covered the important stuff, the rest is icing on the cake" and he's right, the last bit is weaker but overall it was so good it's still a great book for me,

Great read One of those books you can't stop reading. Filled with excellent and simple tips on delivering better stories. It's entertaining, interesting and helpful

Achei o livro incrível! Matt, traz uma narrativa pessoal, leve e divertida. Instigando a pensar em nossas próprias historias, com exemplos e metodologias. Qual a historia de hoje? Essa é a pergunta que temos que fazer para pensar nas coisas incríveis que acontecem com a gente. Super recomendo!

Esta obra te sumerge en situaciones en la que me atrevería a confirmar : que muchos como profesionales atravesamos, nos brinda las pautas y técnicas para poder superar cualquier situación, cuando de exponer temas a pequeñas o grandes audiencias se trata, y sobre todo hacer que sean con el objetivo de mantenerlos : entretenidos , atentos y enfocados . Hasta el grado de que nos brinden la confianza de los oyentes y seamos los que expongamos los temas que ellos o ellas nos cuentan..
