Canon IXUS 160 Point and Shoot Digital Camera - Silver

Great point and shoot camera. Need to adjust the settings to get best quality pictures. Reading on websites best quality if you buy sdhc class 10 card 32gb which I have just purchased via Amazon. I bought this camera to replace my previous metal case Canon camera which I had for many years. Although this is not metal cased it doesn't feel as cheap as some of the other Reviewers have specified. I have got some lovely shots of the family. One of the pluses of this camera is that it will fit in a handbag.

Excellent camera in right conditions with splendid results usually. Unfortunately doesn't have separate viewfinder and in sunlight difficult to see what you are taking. I use it as practical pocket backup camera when I do not want to carry my heavy DSLR

Came within a day of me placing my order As an ameatuer photographer i only bought this as I do not always want to use my phone to take pictures. This produces great quality pictures in whichever setting you find yourself. Easy to use and lightweight so can fit in hand, bag or pocket. Literally just point and shoot and watch your pictures come to life.

I take photos of animals for my work and unless they're standing perfectly still I can maybe get 3 out of 10 which aren't blurry. I have to rely on the flash when indoors which makes photos of animals looks pretty bad. I've seen photos from peoples phones that come out better than from this camera. It'd probably be ok for a beginner or for a child but not for anyone who needs decent photos. It's small and lightweight so fits in your hand and pocket easily which is good, but unfortunately the photo quality really lets it down for me.

This camera [for some reason] always turns in to MACRO mode, and makes photos really blurry. Luckily; had my iPhone handy to take a picture of all my daughters friends at her birthday party.

Photos are worse quality that all of my previous IXUS' from over the years. I just wish my family would stop dropping them.

I found the item arrived much quicker than expected 2 days infact taking into account the bank holiday weekend. The camera was quite small which is great as I don't want to have to lug about something too big. I am yet to use it so I cannot comment on its functionality but I found it easy to assemble - it comes with a rechargabe battery and I ordered a memory card too. So without hanging to refer to instructions I could load both battery and memory card. I like this item a lot.

Good little camera, ideal for the kids, or keeping in the car etc. It has a good zoom, although it can be difficult to get a steady image when on full zoom. Not bad for the price though!
