Works extremely well, good controls and large flame for weed control. If you’re doing a large area say a 50 x 50 rock parking area you’re definitely gonna want to be able to use a 20 pound tank one of those little tiny 1 pound tanks. This torch would burn through one of those way too fast.I had this large area of rock that was basically being taken over by tiny little clover and grass weeds and I burned it all off in about two hours, six months ago, and extremely little has come back just some of the small clover after the rains, I suspect that I’ll burn it off one more time and then the cable probably be gone for good.This has a good length of hose on it, and I attached it directly to the 20 pound tank which gave me plenty of maneuvering room to do large sections before having to move the tank again. Definitely worth the price and would purchase it again if I ever needed to, but the way it’s made I am never going to have to purchase it again.

The media could not be loaded. So my wife and I accidentally bought 2 of these weed torches for each other as a surprise gift. We opened this one and tested it out and it works so well. The video shows how fast the leaves wilt under the faster flame. One of the pictures shows both of the propane torches. The last picture shows the wilted dry weeds about 6 days after the burning. Hopefully they wont come back. This torch is easy to use with the knob to turn on and off the flow of propane and the button switch for ignition. It is easy to adjust the flame amount with the knob and use the lever on the handle for the fast flame that burns the weeds. I would recommend this being a two person job. One person burning the weeds and one on standby for flame control with a hose. The nearby stray dry leaf or 2 caught fire and I had to stomp them out. Overall, really great product for chemical free weed control. I took one star off for comfort because it would have been nice for the hose to be able to swivel at either where the propane tank or the torch connects to avoid the hose getting looped up but overall 5 star product.

Worked as intended! Pleasantly surprised at how well it worked! I was concerned before the purchase in regards to safety however, once I was using it I felt relatively safe using it.

This does what it says. And it kills weeds easily. My only issues are that it's tough to keep lit and it goes through propane faster than a chubby guy running a BBQ grill on the 4th of July!First off, when you use the torch it blows so much propane that it blows its own flame out. Constantly. The igniter is a good feature as you'll relight this constantly. Even when I have the tank valve almost off it still blows itself out. With enough use you'll get better using it and it will happen less but it still happens. Pull the trigger just a bit too much or fast and...pffftttt...it's out. Happens even with a little breeze and the breeze blows into the torch in a certain way and ...pfftttt...it's out. Again, in time you will lessen that issue but it will still happen more than it should.Second, I have several acres I'm using it on and it eats propane like crazy. In just a couple to few hours it will chew through a standard BBQ grill cylinder of propane. Not blaming the product for this, just letting you know what you're in for.Still, I'd buy it again. Better than manual labor and/or chemicals any day!

Started up perfectly the first time. Gotta be careful with this thing though, cause it is powerful. Watch your wood fences and plants. Don’t get too close. The only thing is, I wish the wand was a bit longer. I’m 5’11” and I gotta have a slight bend in my back to get close enough to the weeds. Doing that for an hour isn’t fun. But, all in all…great product.

When I was looking for the best quality weed burner to find a non-pesticide way to deal with my weeds then I was able to find a weed burner but it had no propane tank. Amazon suggested that a lot of people bought this weed burner, a small propane tank and a propane backpack. I knew I wanted something that I could carry on my back like that and it made sense that between the backpack, weed burner and a small propane tank then that seem to be the suggested purchase from the Amazon advertising that these things worked together. … Wrong.The weed burner specifies a larger tank that is not able to fit in the backpack that apparently you are supposed to just drag along with you as you try to burn weeds??! 🤔😒🤦‍♀️ The misleading pairing and suggesting of products from Amazon has left me with a tank that freezes up because it is sized too small. The size of the tank that the weed burner specifies will not fit the backpack that’s designed for the weed burner.I didn’t even realize that the weed burner specified a larger tank till I had received the weed burner, had already filled up the tank and went to attach it to the weed burner. Nowhere online was it easily noted that the suggested Amazon advertising of what people commonly bought together was inaccurate/misleading or that the weed burner specified a larger tank. Hopefully by now this has been changed. I called customer service and informed this to them.Maybe this will clarify what I missed in my research to try to get all the parts and pieces to fit and work correctly. Thank you!

Good product, well built.Originally i wasn't very happy with this product as the flame didn't come out very much. After putting a fresh propane tank on, oh wow am I in love with this flame thrower!Shoots hot flames easily 2ft / 60cm to scorch weeds and wasps - fantastic addition to the tool box!

The torch works great and is nice for weed control. The price is much more economical than local stores. However, my one disappointment is the length of the torch. Being over 6ft tall, I have to slouch to use it and it kills the back. Keep this in mind if your a tall individual.

Works perfect so far. About 5 hours burning pretty thick weeds growing up from loose stone driveway. Went from seeing almost only green to back to stones. Used one tank of propane to do about 50 yards of overgrown driveway. The lighter works great and the flame control works fine. If it lasts a few years I will be very happy. Much better than spraying chemicals everywhere.

Feels like a quality torch. Igniter lights it with one click. Just don't open the knob all the way to light it or it blows out.After it's lit, open the knob all the way and pull the lever and it's flamethrower time!I use it to keep the grass and weeds from taking over my driveway and it's amazing for it. Grass doesn't take much heat to kill so it really doesn't use as much propane as I feared.You don't need to burn it to the ground- just a couple passes and in a few hours it's black and in a few days it's totally dead. Some weeds take a bit more heat but i just do it once a week and give a bit more heat to the ones that a quick pass didn't kill the previous time.

First day, torch seemed to perform well. Second day, flame started to shoot upward instead of down toward weeds. Immediately shut off propane. Flames continued to move upward until all propane in line burned out. Trying to get refund but past 30 day of purchase… help!
