Orthopaedic Biomechanics: Mechanics and Design in Musculoskeletal Systems 1st Edition

I got it for a class I am in about biomechanics and it has some useful tables, I haven't read much of the text.

This book is really great! I had to get the book for one of my classes and it has a lot of knowledge packed inside the book. If anyone is interested in orthopedic biomechanics, it's a good book to read. That being said, like everyone else is saying, the quality of the book materials is not good. The pages are very thin and the cover looks like it won't last unless you are very gentle with the book. I also wished the pages had white space closer to the bindings rather than white space close to the edge of the page. It would have made the viewing/reading experience better. Overall great book if you want to learn Orthopaedic Biomechanics!

I found this book as disorganized and not a very easy read. The fact that my school required it for my course was the only reason I bought it.

It's for my daughter, she is studying the subject here in Switzerland, at ETH in Zurich. She needs to study the stuff. The students are recommended to buy this book, that's why we did.

I had to get this textbook for a class. The copy I received was softcover, black and white only, and most if not all of the pages were printed at a slant with little to no margins on some pages. I feel like I was the victim of some major bootlegging.

The book itself is great, but this physical copy is GARBAGE. I actually own the hardcover version but needed a backup copy for a class I'm teaching. The hardcover version is fine. The softcover version has absolutely terrible print quality, images are grainy, and the cover is the flimsiest materials that literally tore as it was sliding over the bubble wrap inside the packing envelope. Try to get the hardcover or a buy a used version, but not worth the price new.

This book does have good information though out and is easy to read. It's major downfall is the large number of typos in the problems at the end of the chapters.

Just rented this book, the cover is really beat up as well as the binding. The inner book seems fine.
