Update: unfortunately a piece of glass flaked off of the smooth end, within two weeks of purchase. When not in use I keep it in it's sleeve with bubble wrap around it way back out of the way in the cupboard, but I must have bumped it somehow. Now I am sad. Original review: This glass cuticle stick is pretty neat! I purchased the violet one, and it is the exact same color I see on my screen. I heard about it from an online manicure gal and had to try it. It is everything I expected and more! My cuticles were a mess and one session with this glass tool and they look so very much better already. It was effortless to use and worked like a dream. I am glad I watched tutorials on how to use it because it is marvelously abrasive, so be gentle while using it. You can actually file a nail with the non-polished side of it! I know because I had a sharp bit on a nail edge that this tool smoothed out beautifully. Now I want a glass nail file! And maybe a glass foot file too! I think it's safe to say, I'm hooked.

This file does exactly what they say it does! I do my own acrylic nails at home. I have very sensitive cuticles as well as the skin around them. This file removes my cuticles, (circular motion), and cleans and prepares my nails beautifully!

Arrived nicely packaged and in perfect condition. I’ve been using this glass cuticle pusher for about a week now and it works flawlessly. I always use Blue Cross cuticle remover and a metal pusher initially, then trim my cuticles with a cuticle nipper. I thought I was doing a good job and really cleaning my nail bed well. Then I purchased this and wow, I wasn’t doing such a great job after all. This thing gets all the tiny, almost invisible debris. I found out that before, I was leaving behind bits of skin, cuticle, and even gel polish I couldn’t see. It’s very easy to use. I gently rub the beveled end around the sides and base of my nails and the crud just piles up! The pointed end is useful for probing under the cuticle and getting the last little bits out and lifting any pieces that need to be trimmed. I found that it’s important to be really gentle and don’t get too crazy with it because it’s very sharp and effective. It doesn’t take much effort and you can poke or cut yourself being overly enthusiastic with it. I found that out the hard way! At about $10, it’s a steal and I’ll definitely reorder when I undoubtedly drop it or chip it.

This cuticle pusher looks sturdy and survived the journey to reach me. It's well crafted and sharp enough to shape, push and remove the cuticle excess. I took one star because the cover to take this anywhere is not as described. I thought this was going to come in a "protective plastic tube with a cap included", like a case. But instead it came inside a soft plastic envelope-kind-of-cover with one side semi-exposed. Overall, I recommend this product! It seems of great quality and does the job perfectly well for an affordable price.

I love this glass pusher! It does a good on my cuticles and smoothing out the rough skin on the proximal nail fold of my index finger. It would be nice if it came with a protective pouch so it doesn't get damaged and if it were a bit longer.

Disclaimer: I am not a nail expert. Pros: results are better than I had anticipated. Love that I do not have to use chemicals to clean cuticles, love both flat end for cleaning (which I use in small circles on the nail bed) and the pointed end to remove the debris. I find using the flat end with nail oil is very soothing and still gives me great results. The flat end also helps remove ridges on my nails, so it seems fantastic for preparing my nail for the basecoat (I get great adhesion with the lacquer after washing and removing oil from each nail). Cons: the results are so amazing that I can get a bit carried away with the flat end which can make your nail tender. Also, wish it came in a solid, protective "sleeve" much like the glass nail files do. I will definitely buy again.

This was the first glass pusher I have used and I don't plan to ever go back to the plastic type. This thing is amazing and my cuticles have never looked better.
