The Matefinder Series

I don’t even like to read. But I read this in a matter of days. Keeps you interested. Lots of action. I took this to work and luckily I didn’t get caught or in trouble for reading. It’s that good. I could say however some of the “powers” in this book was a little too much. But over all still a good book.

I just read it and enjoyed the story for what it was. I wish more author's would make onmibus's of their stories. I am really getting tired of the trilogy method but it was nice to read it from start to finish. I liked getting to know Raj's pack and how Aurora had to deal with her new life as a member of the pack.

This series is what started it all for me and I’ve been a Leia Stone fan ever since!

i love this series so much, and the sequel series. <3fell in love with the characters so fast.

The shipping was great as it came fast but the book was damaged a little on the bottom corner and it’s supposed to be a brand new book. I wasn’t to happy about that part.

Love this book been looking for another good series to read and this one didn't disappoint. If u love romance and the supernatural especially werewolves then this is the book for you.

Book 1 - Matefinder 4🐺Matefinder is book one in Leia Stone’s Matefinder series. This book follows Aurora a recently bitten werewolf. After having a terrible car accident and bleeding out she is bitten by a werewolf and turned. But things don’t just stop there, she’s not just a werewolf, she is mate to the alpha Kai who bite her, she is also second in command of the pack, but there is so much more to her than that.Werewolves that were once human get a special gift, every bitten wolf’s gifts are different, which manifest after their first shift. Aurora is bitten by Kai after she gets in a terrible car accident, after her first change she finds out she is the Matefinder. A Matefinder is rare and is the most hunted wolf, as she has the power to find the mates for the wolves increasing their population. This is needed because werewolves are dying out and are only able breed with their mate and after being blessed in the Mating Ceremony. Mates are rare and almost never found, to know if wolves are mates their wolf form would be opposite in colouring and marking.But being a werewolf, a dominant female pack member and mate to the alpha doesn’t mean Aurora’s life is peachy. Being the Matefinder means her life is at risk, the vampires want her blood, they want to use her to help wipe out the werewolf race and take humans as blood slaves. Werewolves are protectors, they protect the humans and each other.I really enjoyed the storyline and characters although I wish the romance between Kai and Aurora was hotter. There is definitely steamy moments between them.Book 2 - Devi 4⭐️Devi is book two is Leia Stone’s Matefinder series. This book has so much going on in it. Allies become enemies, unexpected allies are made. I did really enjoy this book, the characters main and secondary are fantastic, makes me want to be apart of the pack. Make sure have tissues on standby and you will need them.After agreeing to still go ahead with marrying Kai, Aurora makes the decision to learn all she can do with her witch self, even going on a drug induced walk about with Nahuel, to communicate with the Devin spirit.I still wanted more romance and intimacy between Kai and Aurora. The few scenes were pretty much skipped over with hardly a word about it, they are mated werewolf adults but there was no steamy scenes.Kai is trying his best to keep his mate safe as well as the rest of the Werewolves and humans, and it may cost him dearly. Aurora has a purpose to restore balance between light and dark, but she is in constant battle with herself.The Vampires want to use Aurora to mate them fertile, they just need bit of her blood, but she is infertile which makes her blood infertile and useless until after the mating ceremony.Book 3 - Balance 4⭐️Balance is the conclusion in Leia Stone’s Matefinder series. A conclusion to a battle between light and dark is what we get.Want to know if Aurora, Kai and the pack are able to defeat Layla and her evil plans to have evil spawn vampires running around.This was an enjoyable read, a great conclusion to this trilogy. This book is full of action, with the trouble of vampires wanting Aurora for her blood to make immortal spawns. The characters once again are the spotlight in this book, the secondary characters are a constant positive in the book. Old characters make appearances and new allies are made.I did have a few issues with this book firstly, Aurora. She was selfish and careless in this book, constantly putting herself in harm's way again and again. I it was the Devi pushing her to complete her reason for being on earth, but Kai, both of them needing a clip over the head. They need to learn to communicate and trust each other. They agreed to work together but are always keeping secrets, you’d think they would have learnt after what happen in Devi. Secondly, the finale seemed to fast paced compared to the rest of the book, that felt repetitive and dragged. But I was happy with the epilogue, a happy ending is need after the cr*p everyone had to go through.

I read all three whilst on holiday if I had been at home with my old book collection I would of put it down and read something else. The main character is a typical Mary Sue and making her a vegetarian doesn’t make her any more relatable. I really enjoyed the overall idea of the world the author created just couldn’t really like the main character. I may not of related to this book that well due to it being YA as well it’s a little cringe. Great idea though.

This is a very good series. Someone suggested it to me and I thought I would give it a try and I loved it. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys supernatural and romance book. Their is another series that follows on from this one about the twins. Great book.12+

The book starts off strong but quickly becomes very disjointed, convoluted, and choppy. It reads like a teenager’s attempt at fan fiction, where every chapter, a new problem arises. Unfortunately, you really want to get behind characters, but they are very poorly developed. I could not finish it.

Such a wonderful, page turner, can’t put it down, binge read worthy book(s). Highly recommendable. Sexy, powerful and dominant. 5stars!
