Blue Sea Systems 285 Series Circuit Breaker

I bought this for the Motorhome to isolate an Inverter. It replaced a cheap Chinese made product - which lasted about 20 on/off cycles. The difference in quality is night and day! Ok you pay more but it actually does the job!!!

Purchased to replace cheap breaker that didn’t get me ch use but failed, working well, hope it lasts

This circuit breaker worked for my marine application as a combined Isolator and Circuit protection device for my Bowthruster , the device is smaller than anticipated .

Didn’t open it to install till return deadline had passed. It doesn’t work. The breaker doesn’t click shut (you can’t reset it/ turn it on). So basically it’s unusable unless you wedge it shut which defeats the purpose…

These fuses work well but are under rated

Blue sea genuine product It’s really good Save yourself some problems and order this right from the start i had put a cheap one and it was still letting current through when off . The cheap ones will also often only do 50% of what they are rated for so not saving anything by buying cheap products this is the right brand if you want to do it properly.

I did not buy this for marine application I used it to replace the in line fuse for my car audio set and it works just as expected. Blue sea products are always my first choice when it come to marine applications thats y I bought this for my car 🙂🙂🙂

Works great. Love that you can use it as a switch.
