Very Nice Letter Opener
ALLEX Letter Opener Knife Japanese Stainless Steel 6.7 Inch, Great letter opener...before buying I saw some reviews negatively mentioning its sharpness and such. I think this has more to do with the word "Razor" in the title/description: "Razor Letter Opener Sword Made in JAPAN". Should remove the word "Razor", substitute with "Sleek". Personally, I would remove the words "Sword" and "Knife". I think this gives the wrong impression. For me, a letter opener does not need to be "razor sharp". That can be dangerous having an open blade of such sharpness lying about. It simply needs a nice strong sleek edge. This specific letter opener is about 6 1/2" in total length. The cutting edge length is approx. 3". It's the right size for me. But I don't have overly large hands. The open area in the handle area is not really useful other then for storing/hanging if that's your desire. Mine just sits in a holder with my writing utensils. The stainless steel material is outstanding and do like the angled handle. 5-Stars

I am ridiculously happy with these scissors
It might be partly due to me not having a pair of scissors I liked since my previously favorite pair broke on me several years ago, but I just absolutely love these scissors. I think I love them more than the pair that broke, actually. From the sleek black of them, how the handles are padded with rubber, to how they cut paper like butter, these scissors are just awesome. I do wish the handle part was bigger but that's just a minor thing.

great quality
the quality of the materials is top notch, but the ergonomics of the rubber finger inserts is not the most comfortable. maybe they should mold some new ones.

Seriously cool.
As a person in a design profession, I always try to surround myself with cool objects even when it comes to mundane objects. And it may seem funny to some I should get excited about a simple pair of scissors, but these are simply beautiful. Simple (maybe a better word is "elegant"), comfortable for the occasional use, and I really do trust the quality (made in Japan).

Dainty scissors .
If you’re cutting one or two sheets of paper it’s great…..they’re a bit on the feeble side . They look beautiful…..on a desk in a drawer in your hand . I was looking for something with a little more umph . I wouldn’t buy them again . Good for dainty hands !

Last Forever
This is my 2nd pair of these scissors. My 1st pair lasted for about 3 decades and they never needed to be sharpened. Actually I still have them, they're just a little wobbly. I got the 2nd pair for when they finally fall apart (if I don't die first!). Highly recommend!

I like these but they are for smaller hands.
These are great to use for general office. They're kind of small and dainty, but not really delicate I would say. I have long fingers but not really fat ones so if your hands are meaty these scissors might not be a good fit. Otherwise I like them, and they are reasonably non-stick so far.

Knock off?
I feel as if I received a knock off product because everyone seems to think these scissors are so great. Yes, the design of the scissors are clean, but that's where the positives end. It's said that tape residue doesn't stick to them after cutting tape. Uh, yes it does. They often won't even cut the packaging tape I'm trying to cut, but end up folding the tape on to itself through the process. I have an old pair of Fiskars scissors that cut through the same tape with ease where with the Allex I'm left trying to apply extra pressure on the blades to try and have them cut. They look good with other minimal office supply aesthetic, however they're just pretty, I leave the cutting to my old scissors that's hidden away in my drawer.
