Although the look of this product (from the outside) may appear impressive, the actual quality (on the inside) is poor! My son saved up and purchased this himself, only to be disappointed that it wouldn’t charge properly! After liaising with the sellers we tried all the various advice sent, re-positioning battery, ensuring the battery casing was making full contact, buying a replacement battery (at the additional cost of £8.50!) to my son’s disappointment, it still didn’t work! I suggested to the seller that the electronics kit may be faulty, their response was to just send a link for a new kit, costing £56! I asked why they weren’t supplying a replacement as the item was still under warranty, I haven’t heard back since! I’ve managed to source a replacement kit my self via AliExpress at a cost of £36 and it now appears to be working/charging! Fingers crossed he now has a functioning lightsaber! Very disappointed with the customer service from this supplier and the lack of help when a replacement kit was requested! I will also be informing them of the additional cost to get this item working. The only positive from this experience is that my son (huge Star Wars fan) is now happy!

Lots of different colours, volume adjustment, different sound “fonts” everything is great apart from the sensitivity like when you swing it once it might make loads of swinging sounds but I normally use it with no sound anyway. Very bright seems good quality. Better than buying from big saber companies (ultrasabers etc) in my opinion. I also have a black series “official” saber which is good quality but only has one colour and no sound adjustment and can’t duel with. Sound isn’t amazing but definitely worth the money. Overall cool saber for the price and I would recommend it to anyone looking to get their first saber or one to mess around with.

First note to self - always check the box contents on delivery. The first time we ordered this, we received a blue umbrella. With penguins on. Item returned and reordered. We received the light sabre second time around.The light sabre worked for a few minutes after charging the first time. Then it would only work for a few seconds but only when plugged in. We have allowed plenty of time (including overnight) for charging.Sending back. Not reordering.

Once I opened up the hilt like it told me to a yellow wire had fallen out and now the lightsaber doesn’t even work properly

Got this for my son for Christmas and it’s been the biggest let down. We have charged for 24 hours and it just won’t turn on. Complete waste of money

Brilliant my son loves it. The size is definitely what you would want. Reson for 1 star taken off is when replacing battery there is a wire that would be really easy to snap, we have decided to wait and charge it because of this. But it is amazing bit of kit.
