However, it’s November 19th and I’m back here to buy another one because the one I bought on June 2nd is already not holding a charge. This is incredibly disappointing, and should not be happening. The batteries are not expensive, but it adds up when you have to replace it every 6 months, not to mention the waste it causes. Very disappointing. UPDATE: it turned out that it was the monitor that was dying, and not the battery. I ordered a ready stand alone monitor to pair with my camera and now all is well. Battery is working great. I was also surprised the actual infant optics brand battery was cheaper than a knock-off. We’ve had this for a few weeks now and it’s 100x better than the old battery. Holds a charge, doesn’t make static noises anymore, and fits great. We’ve used the Infant Optics monitors and cameras for the last 6 years with no issues.
