Set up was easy! Instructions were clear. You’ll need to download an app, so take that into consideration. I specifically chose this because it’s compatible with Apple Health and automatically links and updates. So easy to use and keep track of my weight loss progress. These scales are amazing! You can connect to the app to log your readings, easy to use and looks stylish. Not too chunky like others. Comes with instructions with are easy to understand and the durability of the scale is second to none. I’ve had no problems

Love this scale. Gives out a lot of information. However you need to have your phone with you and the app open for it to record on the app. In terms of accuracy it’s probably pretty good. Got tested with callipers by a PT and was found to be similar.

After much research into smart scales, I chose these. These scales are slim and stylish, very reasonably priced and easy to set up even for a 65 year old techno twit like me! The same went for my husband who also connected it to his fitbit with no issues. The mobile app was easy to download, the scales connected immediately and all the data is easy to see in both the Renpho app and in the apple health app. The scales display only your weight and you need to go into the app to read all the rest. But that's much better than our previous scales which displayed this data on a changing display which was difficult to record or remember. You can set goals, start and end dates and the app will track your progress with charts. My first weight recorded was as I expected so I think it's accurate. We are now embarking on losing at least 2 stone each, so we're hoping these scales will help. Time will tell and I will update this review if my opinion changes.

Had mine for couple months now and I love them! For me watching the numbers come down on the app is a massive incentive to keep going and improve my health. Scales connect to the app via Bluetooth, easy to set up. These are by far the best set of scales I have owned. I do have a bog standard no thrills ordinary set of scales and to compare the two in weight accuracy, they both read the same, which is good news. I was intrigued by all the other information that is available on these Renpho scales such as BMI, Protein, Body Water, Fat Mass and so on, which add to my incentive to keep going. I am currently 17lbs down from the day these arrived in April. Obviously I have made some changes to my diet and exercise to aid in my progress. I've a way to go to reach my goal, but everyday watching these numbers change is another day I am winning. Additional family members can be added to the app and have their own profile, which is great for some. But my son and I like to keep things separate so yesterday his own set of these scales arrived 😊

I saw these recommended by Mumsnet as being super accurate and I cannot fault them. They don’t give you a different value each time you step on, and they measure in increments of 0.2 of a lb. I also love the app - it’s brilliant that all you get from the scales itself is your weight (I’d never again buy ones that cycle through every body metric as you’re standing on them), but the app will show your measurements on tons of other interesting info such as fat, bone density etc. Even my husband, a self-confessed Luddite with virtually no apps on his phone, loves it. Hands-down the best, easiest and most accurate scales I’ve ever used.

The scales seem to be reasonable, been using them for about a month or so. Easy to read but very annoying that you need your phone to get additional information ( anything other than weight ). I’m interested in fat/water % measures etc but will not install the mobile app. This is down to the privacy of my personal data. The app can access your GPS location, name, address, email address and almost any other information can be harvested from your health apps, bank details etc. all details in their Privacy policy if you agree. This is far too intrusive IMHO and you dont know who has access to your data which most likely could be sold on.

I love this scale! You only get to see your weight on the scale itself, but in conjunction with the app, it tracks a lot of body metrics, with time-based and trending views. It integrates with only a relatively small number of big-name options like Apple Health, but using further integrations from those, you can get the data into a much wider range of apps (I get mine into Chronometer via Apple Health). One small criticism is the instructions, which are adequate but not comprehensive. You need to have your phone open to the app (not on screensaver) close by when you weigh, and wait for both your weight and then a further flashing display cycle for all the data to go over, which is not explained in the instructions, but once you figure that out, you're good. For the price point, this has fabulous utility and has been a real game changer in understanding a fuller picture of what is going on with my body and health.
