I've tried many hot sauces. Some are just there to literally burn you with no flavor. Some claim it's hot and it's just flavorful. Yellowbird has managed to blend the two and make a great line of hot sauces. From the mild serrano all the way to the habanero, every one of them are flavorful but appropriately spiced. None of them are overly hot and have the actual taste of the pepper as the main ingredient in there. So many other hot sauces are just watered down or just overly hot with no real flavor. And I've tried everything from mild to wild. And the best part of it all is it's American made! And a 2nd great point is it's a small business and not some major company that doesn't care and just wants to make money. I recommend if your interested in trying them get the sample pack, it has like 5 different kinds and it isn't just enough to try it once, you get multiple uses out of each of them so you can really decide which is your favorite

I love the flavor of the habanero pepper, but at full strength, it can easily blow you away. This hot sauce manages to combine the best of habanero flavor with a creamy texture that eases the impact of the heat on your palette so that all you have to do to control the heat level is to regulate the amount that you use. For some things, you might just want to use a small amount. For dishes that you want to add more heat to, just use more of it. It really is delicious, and if you really appreciate the smoky heat of the habanero, this will become a condiment that you use like ketchup.

I love this sauce. Super spicy, but not painfully spicy.. if you like heat, this will add it to all of your meals. Great Flavor

I was convinced not to order the sample pack from yellowbird with several reviews stating that the habenero was by far the best of the bunch. That said, I would say this is a decent sauce, but I haven't found the best application for it yet. It has a nice heat that really builds as you eat more of it, but it doesn't kill your taste buds. I also find it to have a sweet and somewhat more sour taste than most hot sauces, that does not seem to jive so well with pizza or burgers (the only 2 things I've tried so far). I am betting it would be pretty amazing on chicken as it very much reminds me of the mango habanero sauce from b-dubs, without the actual mango flavor of course. While I was writing this review the girlfriend said she would rate it 5 stars and she is a hot sauce fanatic. Can't really go wrong for $7 for this giant bottle, so I'd say take the plunge.

A roommate got me this for Christmas five years ago, and I wound up ordering a new bottle every time I ran out. It's got a carrot base, so the flavor is distinct even from other habanero hot sauces, and I find it just has the right amount of heat for spicing things up without punishing my GI tract. The only reason I've stopped buying it on Amazon is that it's become well-known to the point I can find it at local grocery stores now. Good job, Yellowbird! You broke into the mainstream! Despite the tone of most of my other reviews, I'm actually not being sarcastic here! I love this stuff!

A kicked up amount of heat and deliciousness. I like hot sauces but I don't just look for heat. I like the one's that taste good as well as give my mouth a kick of heat. The heat level is much higher than the standard Tabasco, Choulula, and Tapatio sauces. I like those three for the flavors they impart on my meals but I like more heat than they can provide. This sauce gives me the heat and flavor I'm looking for. If you think Tabasco is hot, this sauce may be too hot for you.

EDIT: they personally reached out to me and turns out there was a warehouse issue with heat and such causing some batches to go back but unfortunately some got out before they could figure all the logistics. This sauce is brilliant man. Got to try the other ones too, work so well, the flavors are diverse and the texture and taste are exceptional. Thank you... I can't see, bottle showed no apparent sign of damage, dents, botulism. It was out of a movie. I slowly took off the lid in an excited manner to show Off to some coworkers. Then slowly peeled the tight machine seal, this was the beginning of the end. It erupted, in waves. This bottle smelled toxic and slowly kept coming, pause... It was a nightmare - went all over my clothes and eyes... Pause. It was like mentos and coke. Ruined my clothes, my right eye - can't see. This is wild, the smell was so toxic everyone in the room was coughing but laughing at the same time. Ruined my shirt , living room floor and I'll keep y'all posted if I can see tomorrow. Pray for ya boy. The pain in my eye traveled towards the back of my brain, proceeded to wash my eye for 20 minutes... Good times. Hurts to do this negative review nah my thing - because the ingredients are legit, looks amazing, seems like a small business, reviews are solid. Perhaps I just got a tainted bottle. Looking forward to a return! Best
