The nicest flavour in my opinion
I bought all three flavours and the Morello Cherry was the best one. It had a recognisable but not too sweet cherry flavour which I liked. I couldn’t really taste the pomegranate but out of the three flavours I would buy this one again. I’m not too keen on the lemon flavour. I honestly thought that would be my favourite but it had a slightly bitter chemical flavour rather than a fresh lemon flavour that I was expecting. The tangerine was my least favourite. Quite a strange synthetic taste and tangerine and strawberry is not a combination I would choose. I’m a bit disappointed as I was expecting to love all of them.

Refreshing with subtle flavour
This is really pleasant when you are a bit bored of just drinking water. The flavour is subtle, perhaps a little too subtle but I have really enjoyed it and it's been a nice refreshing drink, especially when very cold. I've knocked off a star as I think I would prefer the flavour to be just that little bit more intense and/or with a tiny bit of sweetness to it. Also nice as used as a mixer but this is also when it could do with having a stronger flavour.

A delicious, fruity and healthy alternative
I've always been a huge fan of S.Pellegrino and their products, so I was really excited to see the new Essena range and the Dark Morello Cherry & Pomegranate is my close second favourite flavour. In essence, the new range is all about combing natural mineral water to quench your thirst, carbon dioxide for the fizz and natural fruit flavourings for the taste in one simple, delicious and healthy drink which S.Pellegrino has managed to do beautifully. The drink has a lovely subtle fruit smell and flavour, with a good amount of fizz while having just two calories in a whole can, with no added sugars or sweeteners, something that could not have been easy to achieve. It's a great alternative to normal fizzy drinks which are usually filled with chemicals, sugar and sweeteners, giving you delicious fruity flavour and fizz that's much more fun than drinking pure water al the time. Greatly recommended for anyone and everyone, you won't be disappointed no matter which flavour you try first.

Subtle aroma but not worth the price
I tried S.Pellegrino as part of a paid for testing group and because I like San Pellegrino standard sparkling drinks. As someone who consumed sparking water with fresh fruit on a daily basis, I was disappointed at the lack of taste from this product. The sparkling water is a good strength and feels fresh to the mouth and the zest smell is good but there is no taste of any note with an almost artificial after smell/taste. It is hard to explain! I would recommend simply adding a slice of fresh lemon / lime to plain sparkling water and save the wasted metal cans and money. Perhaps the other flavours were better, but the Lemon Zest was a passable one for me. I will stick with my fresh fruit in sparkling waters and San Pellegrino normal sparkling drinks from now on.

Lighter than expected?
I didn't expect something quite as light in flavour as this? I didn't think it would be as strong as their standard fruit flavoured products but this just has some of the aroma but hardly any flavour! Even my wife who dislikes stronger flavours called it "uninspiring"? Fine for some I'm sure but I won't drink it again unless it's free? A reasonable mineral water with some peel left in over night would do just as well?

Zingy, zesty and very healthy
I bought the cherry flavour from my supermarket a few weeks a go and loved it, the online Amazon price is a bit better so giving these other flavours a try. This range was exactly what I was looking for - sugar free, sweetener free, natural ingredients and mineral water. Don't expect these to taste like the sugary fizzy pop - because they don't - but i love them - they're yum and a nice treat when I get sick of drinking still water. The lemon flavour has a lovely zesty, zingy flavour and makes a lovely calorie free treat. Perfect drink for dieters. Now I'm just hoping San Pellegrino starts making their unflavoured sparkling water in cans or glass and moves away from plastic as soon as possible.

Light, fruity and doesn’t add inches to your booty!
To start with straight off the bat; this drink is not sweet and contains no sugar or sweetener. All you are getting is the flavour of dark morello cherries, a hint of pomegranate and a nice fizz that is not so OTT that you’re pulling faces at your confused wife sitting across from you after one sip. If you’re used to sipping on a sweeter bev like me, then it will definitely be a surprise to you for the first few mouthfuls. But after finishing one 330ml can, I was pleasantly surprised at how refreshing this was. San Pellegrino has always been a favourite of mine, across many different flavours and I will be more than happy to keep these in stock at home. Due to the lack of sweetness; I can see why this would put some people off who are used to their other lines. But if you’re a fan of sparkling water and more natural tasting drinks without the chemicals, or just in need of something different, then give them a go. They may just catch you off guard and tickle your taste buds. Prime delivery was a doddle and they arrived in great condition; no damaged cans and the other items in the box were also fine.
