Quality microwave, beeps when done but not worse than a samsung washing machine.
Microwave works well. I thought i would use the air fryer combination of this microwave but got busy and never had a chance. I sold the building and forgot to take the microwave with me, so i'm a little sad but will be ordering another. This microwave was very reliable and after 2 years, it's still working. Its not too big that it takes up a lot of counter space but it's large enough for most of what we needed. It's quiet outside of the beeping when it finishes, I find that annoying but can overlook it!

It's so NICE I bought it TWICE!
Oops, I may have just bought the last one! Started off with the brand new shiny model, fancy knobs, sleek look, and all that jazz. Nice little gadget, except it’s actually way smaller than the old model. Yep, they went backwards! Trying to cook for a family in convection-microwave-sized shoebox? Yeah... not gonna work. So, I went retro and grabbed the old, much larger model. At around $200, this thing is a steal. The new one’s dial to set time is neat, though it feels like it could snap off if you look at it wrong, and it’s whisper-quiet, like it’s sneaking around the kitchen at night. But besides that, the old faithful beats it in almost every way. Now, the programmed settings on both? Utterly bonkers. I swear Toshiba’s secret mission is to make microwaving feel like rocket science. Who remembers all those confusing presets? It’s the 21st century, Toshiba! We have smart fridges that can order pizza, how about a microwave that functions without a PhD in buttonology? And the clock? Oh boy. It loses time every time the power blinks, which is like three times a week in my house. I have a computer from the 1970s that remembers the date better than this microwave. Seriously, it’s like a time traveler stuck in a time warp. All in all, though, it’s a great microwave. I now have two of the exact same model in the kitchen which is a blessing, one set of crazy programs to memorize! The convection function is fantastic, so if you can find one still floating around, grab it before I do!

Great multi-use oven
This oven does a whole lotta things. We bought it when the last multi-use unit we had stopped working and this has replaced it well, aside from not having a broiler function. It does take longer to cook things than the previous oven we had, but it boils water faster, which I do almost every day to make a cup of tea. This oven also stays cleaner longer, and is easy to clean when you need to. These countertop ovens really make sense when you have something you want to reheat or cook without requiring your standard size oven. It's a good value, easy to use, and quiet.

Great Combo Microwave
We bought this Combo Microwave to replace an 30 year old microwave. I must say we love it. I does come with a users manual that is very helpful. It works really well and we will be using it a lot. To us it is worth the price we paid for it. WE ARE HAPPY .

READ BEFORE BUYING: Huge Disappointment & False Advertisement. Not Worth the Money!
While this appliance isn't terrible overall, and Toshiba generally makes good quality ones, the reason for this 1-star review is that its name, marketing, and relative high price tag is deceptive and disingenuous, and I would even say to the level of being a scam. First, some background: This appliance is named, marketed, and billed as an "air fryer combo" (combined with a microwave). The reality is that it's anything but an air fryer. I bought this unit because I got rid of the microwave and air fryer in our kitchen to save space. Having a 2-in-1 unit sounded like a great idea, and I believed that this was the appliance to meet this need. However, the air-fryer feature/setting is really only that of a typical convection oven, meaning that it's an oven that heats up using traditional (i.e. non-microwave) heating elements, and a fan that blows and circulates the hot air to get the baking to take place more quickly and evenly. While, yes, you can say that an air-fryer is in a sense a super-charged convection oven, the air fryer simply isn't merely a convection oven, because it is so hot and intense in terms of its temperature and air circulation that it would literally achieve similar results as deep-frying and pan-frying (i.e. similar crispness and crunch on the outside, while retaining moisture and tenderness on the inside of the food), but doing this quickly and with much less (if any) added fats/oils (thereby making the food more healthy), less fuss and cleaning up, and it takes a fraction of the time to cook most foods, compared to how much it would take a traditional oven or convection oven would take to cook the same food/dish. This appliance, on its "air fry" or "convection setting," does not do that at all. It takes about the same amount of time as a traditional or convection oven to cook any food I put in there, if not more. One of the biggest selling points of using an air fryer, aside from the aforementioned benefits of more healthy and similar results/texture/characteristics of traditional deep frying or pan frying, is that it takes a very short amount of time to cook the food. Again, this appliance doesn't do that. And while there is a "combi" feature that apparently uses a combination of microwave and its convection functions, which may also seem like a great idea because you would think that the food cooked or heated up with this feature would both take a very short amount of time to cook/heat up that the microwave feature offers, and provide you with the crispness and crush that a genuine air fryer does, in reality the results from using this function does neither. From my experience, the "combi" feature takes significantly longer than just using a microwave, and it also doesn't give you the crispness and crunch that an air fryer does. You end up with food that takes longer than either feature alone takes to cook or heat up, and the food also usually comes out wet and soggy on the outside. Lastly, when using this appliance, you end up with an extreme amount of steam that builds up inside the unit, so most of the you end up partially steaming the food, which you don't always want - this probably contributes to the food often coming out wet and soggy, if it's a dry food and not something like a soup or beverage. Overall, investing 2 or 3 times the amount of money that it would have taken me to purchase either a good microwave or good air fryer, and ending up with simply a decent microwave that has no real "air fryer feature" has been an enormous disappointment, and a waste of my money and limited counterspace in the kitchen. I thought I could trust that a Toshiba appliance that claims to be an air fryer-microwave combo, but it's anything but one.

Unlike my previous multi function microwave that required a week of retraining to figure out, this Toshiba has the same functions of a regular microwave and the extra features can be learned in minutes. I really like the bright light inside and the clear safety glass on the door (some others are darkly tinted) so that I can easily see what is going on inside. When I put a cup of coffee in to warm up the turntable brings the handle back to where I left it. The turntable is the same clear glass type as a regular microwave (my old one was metal and Teflon coated which was easy to scrape.) All the other functions and buttons are pretty much the way one is used to so you are in business with almost no learning curve. Another thing I like is it looks the same as a regular microwave which is handy when guests need to use it. My only beef is the Instruction Manual which tells you how to use the various functions but not why and when you would use them. For example there is an Eco function but nothing in the manual tells you what it does (it turns off the display to save a few cents on your power bill). There is also a "combi"function with instructions of what buttons to press. Nothing on why I would need to use this however. I found out elsewhere that this can be used to reheat pizza and have it crispy like it was originally. There is a lot of information online if you know where to look but I wish I didn't have to do that.
