These work great in home or garage!
If you have mice or rats this is a sure trap. I live near a small field and don't usually have issues but the 2 times I have, these thick, sticky, plastic plates catch every one of them. Occassionally 2 or more at a time.

Highly recommend for catching snakes
This product works better than I expected in trapping snakes. I was very skeptical on how strong the glue would stick to the snake, but it worked very well. I expected the snake to slither away with the trap, but absolutely not the case. My wife and kids repeatedly saw a snake in the yard, but they never saw it when I was around. I decided to try this glue trap to catch the snake. I set two glue traps in two areas where the snake was last seen. I did not use any attractant, bait or food. I built a small wood box and placed the box on top of the glue trap which was placed in between a couple small plants. I did not secure the trap to the ground. I just placed the trap on top of the rocks in our flower bed. The box prevented leaves, rain and debris from getting stuck on the glue and created a secluded place for the snake to enter. After four weeks of waiting, I caught two snakes in the same trap! The snakes were still alive when I found them. I assume if you wait long enough, the snakes will run out of food and water. Just be prepared to take action as you open uncover the box. I recommend a long handled flat shovel to remove the box and finish the snake. See the enclosed pictures. I would highly recommend this product. You cannot reuse the trap after the snakes have been trapped. Just dispose of the trap with the snakes intact. Be patient and good luck!

One of the traps disappeared!
I purchased the two-pack glue trap hoping to catch whatever varmint was eating my green tomatoes. I didn't know if it was rats or squirrels. I put one trap in the pot with the largest tomato and the other trap in the pot that had two baby tomatoes growing. Nothing happened overnight. This evening (8pm, still light outside) I came home and, lo and behold! one of the traps was missing!! My tomatoes weren't touched, however. I looked all over the yard for an animal with a glue trap stuck on him....and didn't see anything. So, I am going to buy more glue traps to place in the tomato pots. Who knows? Maybe my neighborhood will have squirrels or roof rats running around with traps stuck to their fur. Has anyone else had this experience?

Wolf spider catcher
We get enormous wolf spiders in our old basement all year round and this has cut back their population substantially. I first tried the smaller sticky traps for bugs but only caught a few tiny bugs and never any spiders. We upgraded to these and have caught hundreds of enormous spiders and bugs in the last year with 2 traps. I’m back to buy new ones because the old ones are so chock-full of spiders that there is little sticky surface left to trap them. It’s terrifying and satisfying at the same time.

JUST got it and it already worked!
I was horrified to see a mouse scurrying across our garage last week, envisioning the little critter moving into the house and inviting all his friends. I ordered a 2-pack of this glue trap and put them next to different walls in the garage last night. This morning, not hearing any squeaking, I assumed there had been no action... but I just about jumped when I checked the first trap and saw a little brown mouse staring up at me with black beady eyes! My husband did the humane thing and put him swiftly out of his misery... after I got over the 0.5 second of feeling sorry for the mouse, I breathed a sigh of relief that my house is safe from rodents destroying our belongings. We had a rat visitor on our covered deck a few years ago, and I wish I'd known about these glue traps then (although then my Standard Poodles would've missed out on the fun of trying to chase down a rat). Update from 7/16/2013: We ended up buying several more packs of these glue traps. Over the course of about a week, these traps ended up catching FOUR mice. One also caught a small snake, and unfortunately a lizard, which we freed using some vegetable oil on the trap. Please make sure you check these traps daily so that no little critters are left to starve to death... either release them or kill them humanely. Either way, these traps are fantastically effective and we plan to buy these again should we ever need to.

Tremendous Let Down
I ordered a box of two glue traps. One of the traps caught a field mouse that was able to drag the trap a couple of feet before exhausting itself & dying. The second trap couldn't hold the mouse. I saw it feet away from the trap. It was missing skin on body and face. It was terribly injured but not dead. Awful! I want to catch/kill them but not torture/mutilate them. I've used other glue traps before with no problem. I sure will NOT buy this product again.
