Smooth but stiff
The tolerances on this unit are close. It’s well made but if you’re looking for “free wheeling “ performance this isn’t for you. The unit I received is very smooth and there is no “slop” it’s tight. It spins well but requires constant input to keep it moving. I’m not able to give it a spin so to say. Maybe after some time it will loosen up.

Love it!
Turned an inexpensive marble disc into a turntable for centerpieces. Spins flat and level, sound is not disturbing. Good quality.

Excellent for a lazy Susan table centerpiece.
I have purchased several of these. They worked perfect for lazy Susan projects I created for table center pieces. Great thing is you don't have to screw them into whatever you place on top of them. They come with a non-slip pads installed, so you just place the item on top and it rotates easily. Will continue to use these as I make more projects.

It does the trick, but it does not spin freely.
This is a solid product. It was very easy to directly mount it to the bottom of a wooden base I was using. However, it turns fairly stiffly. After adding a few drops of machine oil around the bearings, it’s spun a little more smoothly, it is still a little stiff. Decided to keep it though.

Heavy duty and well constructed
I used this to make a lazy susan with a 24" glass top. It works flawlessly, holds the top in place solidly, is very stable, and easily handles the weight of anything we put on it. My one comment is that it's not the most frictionless to rotate but I'm ok with that as I don't want the lazy susan to keep spinning after i let go.

Did exactly what I hoped for.....
First - I did NOT find it noisy or binding. There is a very slight noise when it's rotated, but I've heard worse from ones at restaurants. Binding didn't seem to be a problem...I mounted a 1" thick, 24" diameter wood board to it and it rotates with no binding or difficulty even though the 24" is 2" wider than the specs say is maximum for the 10" ring. I did put a light coat of lithium grease on the bearings to only help protect it while being outdoors. Second - I asked the question if it was high enough to clear the "plug" on my table that covered the umbrella hole and was told "NO". When I checked, it had about 1/4" clearance - thanks to the feet - so double bonus! Third - It is constructed from high-grade aluminum and very robust! I am extremely happy with this product and would purchase it again!

Perfect, no grinding, not out of round, silent (mostly), rubber feet on both rings.
After reading the reviews, mostly the reviews from other sellers, I was cautious about buying one of these. Mine is perfect. This seller is a little more expensive but it was worth it in my case. There is a slight click when you change directions, that is normal. The balls do not fill the entire inner race so the ones at the gap can tap against each other. I generally take weight estimates with a grain of salt. These are aluminum and will bend and twist if not well reinforced. FYI, some sellers here are buying various products that have failed quality control in bulk and flipping them on amazon. What I have started doing is to give a seller the benefit of the doubt and give them one chance to get me a good one. My advice, if your second one is bad get a refund and move on to another seller.

Complete garbage
This thing does not spin easily at all. It gets jammed up a lot. I put graphite in it and that made it worse so I pulled all the bearings out, greased them up, and put them back in with no benefit. I suspect it’s because the load on the bearings is sideways and not straight up and down. Do not buy this.
