## Description

Techbee Digital Infinite Repeat Cycle Intermittent Timer Plug for Electrical Outlet, 24 Hour Programmable Indoor Timed Power Switch with Countdown Delay On and Off (120V, 15A), 1 pack - desertcart.com

Review: Great product - Works great. Only had about 2 weeks, so far so good. Set up is not difficult but you do have to pay attention while doing it. Its not intuitive. Bought for a radiator heater that has no thermostadt. Plugged into this timer it now turns off/on at regular intervals cutting way down on electricity consumption & keeping room from over-heating. Which means the timer pays for itself.
Review: Useful "appliance timer" - This is just an "appliance timer", which allows you to control the power for the device of your choice. If you happen to need such a feature, this timer appears to do a decent job of the task. In my case I got this to control the power for the "modem" my ISP provides for my home (as the previous timer I had for this task was finally dying after years of service). This allows me to schedule a routine "power cycle" (turn off, wait a short time, and turn back on) of my internet modem. Because of the scheduling features of this timer, it was most easiest to setup this timer to cut power for 1 minute the same time every night, and otherwise have the power always on. As my modem does take a minute or three to startup (when first getting power), this essentially means I have a few minutes every night when I don't have any internet. However, this nightly "reboot" of my equipment also means that at other times my internet is much more reliable (as my equipment is restarted every night to keep it running reliably). So by plugging my internet "modem" into this timer (and programming the timer to cut power for one minute each night), I've converted my internet from occasionally "crashing" without warning, into a guaranteed short nighly internet outage but one which also "crashes" much less often than it otherwise would. And the best part of this is that this "appliance timer" automates this routine maintainence, so that I need to do nothing beyond this initial setup (I just routinely have more reliable internet, at the expense of a short nightly internet outage)! NOTE: As another poster mentioned, this timer uses a 24 hour clock (vs the more common in the US 12 hour AM & PM time). While this may be an issue for some people that never learned about 24 hour clocks (in my case I don't use 24 hour clocks very often, but I did learn about them back when I was in school), this is still only an issue when you are initally setting up the timer's clock. However, once this timer is setup, it really works about the same as a timer that uses a more common 12 hour clock. So if you can get over the initial setup of this timer, you really shouldn't notice any difference than what you would get with a timer that uses a more common 12 hour clock.

## Features

- Multifunctional: thanks to its 3-in-1 design, this timer can do daily on-off timer, countdown and turn on/off timer, and short on-off cycle timer, making it much more versatile than other models
- Good Helper and Money Saver: helps to streamline your daily routines, reduce energy use and save on your energy bills by automatically powering your appliances on and off as needed
- User-Friendly Design: large screen for clearer view of digits and numbers; built-in battery to memorize your programs during power outages; completely silent and ideal for home use
- Protect Your Electronics: countdown and turn off mode can be extremely helpful to limit the charging time for your expensive electronic devices and prolong their service lives
- Buy with Confidence: V0 fireproof housing plus its child lock function make this timer safe to use and operate; each timer is backed by lifetime support

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can it be set to 12-hour format?**
A: This timer only supports 24-hour format (also known as military time).

**Q: For long-term storage, do I need to remove or replace the timer’s battery?**
A: The built-in battery is rechargeable and does not need replacement. To extend its lifespan, we recommend charging it fully for 24 hours once a month.

**Q: The screen is blank—Is the timer defective?**
A: The timer has a built-in rechargeable battery. A blank screen is most likely caused by a dead battery. Charging it for 2 hours or longer typically resolves this issue.

**Q: The timer isn’t working as programmed—Is it faulty?**
A: First check for incorrect settings or timer-device compatibility issues. Compatibility test (pre-purchase): Plug your appliance directly into a powered wall outlet, turn it on (keep switch "on"), unplug then replug—auto-on = compatible; else not.

**Q: Can the timer be used with a power strip?**
A: Make sure the timer (1800W, 120V, 15A) is not overloaded. We recommend plugging the timer directly into a wall outlet, then connecting your appliance directly to the timer. If you must use an extension cord, be sure not to overload it either.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Useful "appliance timer"

This is just an "appliance timer", which allows you to control the power for the device of your choice. If you happen to need such a feature, this timer appears to do a decent job of the task. In my case I got this to control the power for the "modem" my ISP provides for my home (as the previous timer I had for this task was finally dying after years of service). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well, instructions confusing but usable, battery that should be recharged if not in use!
*by A***R on February 25, 2026*

Bought it almost a year ago, so far it's still working. I asked Rufus about the rechargeable battery (it gets a quick mention in the instruction sheet). This is what it said: The timer has a built-in rechargeable battery, pecifically a 1.2V NiMH cell. It keeps the time and your programmed settings intact during power outages. The battery is not user-replaceable. It's soldered directly to the circuit board inside. If the battery fails, you'll need to contact Techbee customer support (techbee@foxmail.com) as it's covered under their warranty. To keep it charged: 1) Plug the timer into an active outlet regularly; 2) If not in regular use, recharge for about 24 hours every 30 days; 3) When properly maintained, the battery can hold a charge for around 90-100 days. That last bit about "keeping it charged" isn't mentioned in the instructions at all. I wonder if that's why some of them fail after a year. The "warranty" is 12 months per the instructions.
