These are a great time saver because I was tired of struggling with the clasps in the morning before my cup of coffee. These are lightweight and don’t slip down like the barrel style. Awesome. I have a hard time fastening my necklaces so this is a game changer. Magnets are strong. There are some reviews that say the colors change to black but they are reasonably priced and I don’t have to worry about losing my jewelry so if I need to change them out I can buy replacements. So far have not had this problem though.

I was worried about using these, but they are surprisingly string. I think the slight divet helps to hold them.

HOWEVER, that is not what I bought them for. MY FAULT for not examining the product listing more thoroughly, in order to understand the function of these things - which, I suppose, will come in handy. But, no, I bought them for making my own bead necklaces, and this product is NO HELP for that purpose - which is to make a necklace from scratch. My hobby is buying beautiful 8mm or 10mm stone beads of jade, jasper, opal, pearl, agate, etc. and stringing them. I thought this product would be perfect for that but, sadly, no -- that would require another, existing lobster clasp and another loop to accomplish. What I have to do for my purpose will be to forcibly remove (it will be easier if the jump rings attaching them can be opened) both the lobster clasp as well as the loop tab, and just use the magnet part of the clasp. The grape jasper choker I am working on is already in process - time intensive, as I am knotting between each bead, but it has just now dawned on me that I cannot use the clasp, already attached as it is meant to be used. Oh, well, live and learn.

These are handy but went black after first use

So so glad I bought these! I'm wearing necklaces every day now because it's so quick to put them on and I don't need my glasses. They are pleasantly smaller than I expected and they look great, which is important with hair up. I consider them totally essential and would not be without them. I've worn them for a week now, the magnets are so strong and secure - to the extent that they can be tricky to prise apart but it's not a problem. I didn't used to bother wearing necklaces when working from home on Teams but now I do! It's a nice extra touch to online meetings.

They actually ruined a gold necklace. Threw them out!

Edit*** these have gone black and I don't wear them all the time, never wear them in the shower, very disappointed. I have problems with fine motor skills and these things make it a doddle to close clasps on chains. Fiddly to attach to chain but once there they are staying. I also tested safety of the clasp by tugging on a chain and it wasn't budging, strong magnets. I can't recommend these highly enough for people with issues with fine motor skills. Only thing is they often swivel on the chain and become visible, I've thought of using a safety pin to hold them so bought a box of gold and silver tiny pins on here in case I decide to do that, in all honesty I don't even think they look bad when they swivel, they are small. Again, yes they are strong and don't fall off your neck.
