In my first review I was impressed with the quality. I’ve now had the shoe laundry bag for 7 months. After using the bag just a few times, the zipper already broke off in the wash and the bag would not unzip. I had to cut the bag to get my shoes out, so now the bag is useless. The mesh is very sturdy, I will give it that. Item made in China. The order came with 2 bags, so I’ll see how long the second one lasts. (Initial review): Very sturdy, well-made shoe bag for the washer and dryer. It keeps shoes from getting tangled up with the other laundry. I really like these bags.

So yes, these keep your shoes separate, but the build was basic, and the plastic hard endcaps seem useless to me. I'm not sure what they're trying to do because the entire thing can collapse accordion-style, and other shoes can definitely press into the heels and toes of other containers. If all you're looking for is to separate shoes and keep them isolated, great, but there are better solutions IMO.
