As with all interference paints, this is best used sparingly over a black or very dark background. It is not to be used like ordinary paint: you will waste it to little purpose and disappointing effect. Apply in thin layers with a very soft, almost dry brush. It is often preferable to thin it, either with water or with a high quality acrylic medium. You can also achieve some interesting effects by misting it after brushing it on, with a very fine spray of water from a mist bottle.This is a wonderful, almost magical paint if you use it correctly. I feel confident in recommending it. Those who express disappointment in it, most likely tried to use it like a regular acrylic paint.

Cool color would have been 5 stars but when I got the paint the top was off and I was only able to save half a bottle. So I gave half stars (rounded up) for a half delivered product.

It's pretty translucent...maybe it's just mine but it takes 3 layers of this color to be somewhat solid in coverage. I didn't have this issue with their Pewter color at all...barely one coat of that stuff does the trick...unfortunate since the gold shimmer is so gorgeous...I really wanted to love this color...

The gold cast is a nice touch. Subtle but lends an elegant quality to the paint. Easy to use and dries fairly quickly. Needs 24 hours to cure.

I love this paint which I use for Acrylic Paint Pouring and create some fantastic effects on all sorts of items, some I've added. These paints have a luminescence which is just so beautiful and brings another level to my work. I just love these paints and always look forward to receiving them when I've ordered some more.If you are creating decorative items, these are a must and you really wouldn't be disappointed in these wonderful paints. Bought to use for dotting art and found to be very thin consistency. Color ok but just not fit for my purpose. Have kept ad could use for painting other things.

Lovely paint, only comment I have is it is slightly darker than in the photo.

The colour is so beautiful. I love the two tone of violet and gold. Gold can be too harsh, but this is perfect for a bit of bling. Well worth the wait!

these paints are the best! The colours are so deep, rich and heavily pigmented - a little goes a long way! I use them on paper, canvas, wood and bisque clay shapes, they are a delight to work with😁
