Don't know what you use this stuff for but it has many jobs in my garden. Its underneath protecting me from digging creatures. its around the containers protecting the plants from little creatures that would chew and eat delicate leaves and fruits. its protection from harsh winds, it sun shade. Its screen on the greenhouse windows letting air circulate while protecting plants from things that would eat, chew, and destroy. it gets used over the hoops in winter, under the frost blanket to help hold that stuff up and off the plants in rain and snow. I know its fiberglass, but in years of using it, have never had fiberglass "fibers" shred off, irritate, contaminate, etc.. This is my second roll of the stuff and probably will not be the last!

I purchased this screen (FCS8847-M) to replace the identical screen installed 8 years ago on our screened porch in rural Virginia. Although the original screen material was flawless, this screen contained a flaw. Initially, I thought the flaw might only exist in the first several feet, but as I continued to use the roll, I realized that the flaw repeated itself about every 2 feet. It's not a major flaw that affects the screen's integrity, but it's the first thing visitors notice when sitting on our porch. For peace of mind, please unroll a few feet of screen material and check for flaws before installing.
