The wire bends relatively easy so your ground must be moist to wet to keep from bending it, otherwise it works very good. Twelve inch could be a problem for clay soils.

These are very good quality staples. When I ordered them I really didn't know the quality but when they arrived they were great quality and a great price. They were much thicker material and 2 inches longer than the ones I was buying at the box store not to mention at a fifth of the cost. You definitley get your moneys worth with these staples
