Great product! This was my first Led set and it looks great! It adds a ton of color and lights to the train and the twinkling lights on the white leaves are fantastic! You just need to take your time when installing them. They are fragile but this is to be expected with Led lights. It took me about an hour to install them. I plan on getting more kits for my other models!

This is the third Lightailing kit I have purchased and each one makes the corresponding Lego kit really shine. The instructions are rather clear and the lights are great. Lightailing support is also responsive to customer issues. I would highly recommend.

Got these lights to go with the holiday train set. They were packaged nicely and included instructions that were fairly easy to follow with pictures. The wires are thin enough to snap in between the bricks but sometimes they’d pop a brick off from wire tension, mostly the train’s smoke stack if the train were bumped. Maybe it was just my particular set that had 2 lights that were fused a smidge too close together on that part of the wire.? It’s powered by 3 AAA(?) batteries with an on/off switch on the battery box. My biggest issue was trying to find a place to put the battery box on the train. The coal car (2nd car) would’ve been a great place to put the battery box if It wasn’t already in use. I had installed the Lego motor there so the train ran on its tracks with a remote control. It’d have been nice to know how to convert the lights battery wires to work with the LEGO battery pack. I struggled with how to stow 2 large battery packs on the train. its a work in progress. The lights are very bright and pretty and work as advertised.

The set is a bit more customized than I expected compared to others. The bricks are genuine Lego modified to receive tiny LEDs. With how small they are and the wiring, it makes them very fragile feeling.. no way to really get around it though. My set arrived with the rear car string not working which was pretty frustrating after getting everything else ran through.. so I had to modify it in order to get it to work unfortunately.Previous reviewer could not get this to work with the power functions.. but if you're handy with electronics.. you can wire up a female USB to the power functions terminal with a resistor (to not over power the LEDs) to create USB power for the strings.. just have to take some extra steps to run the USB and remaining wire cluster. When I have a video proof, I will upload it.

Was excited to add lights for our Christmas train. Followed the directions and it went well at first until I got to the 3rd car. I broke about half the lights off for the 3rd car placing a brick on top. What’s worse though is I realized there’s no where on the train to store the giant battery box that powers the lights. If your train has power to run around the track this light kit is completely useless. Beyond disappointed

The wiring shows unlike the video and pictures. I took my time installing it and there is just a bundle of wires in the middle of the train. Look horrid, unless you "hide them" behind the non moving train.Can not run your train with this installed as there is not a place to put the batter pack, why not allow it to use the power functions battery?

The media could not be loaded. The lights look awesome and are well designed. They’re very bright and the multicolor lights blink. Unfortunately, there’s no way to use them with the Power Functions on the train as there is no place to put the USB battery pack. You’ll need to add another car to the train to store that. The installation is straightforward but the cable management will take some time to figure out.

Nice light kit. Sometimes its tight. Main problem is the HUGE battery pack!! Ok if you don't plan to make your train work, but otherwise you'll need a new wagon to hide it!! It could have been smaller... to easily hide it in the caboose.

Great value, easy to fit.

I love the idea of lighting up my Christmas village, but the lights are very hard to add. I would like the books to be bigger and clearer of how and where to add the lights.
