(Paragraph 2 is where the review really starts) I was looking for a minimalist wallet and this is perfect for me! At first, I was hesitant because I wanted at least one more pocket (considering that people in the reviews say it's difficult to hold more than one card in each slot; read what I have to say about that later, though) but I decided that if I wanted to go minimalist, I needed to cut back more and so I just bought it. It took me some time to figure out how to cut back but once I did, my pockets were so much slimmer and cleaner! There are literally no cons to this product, hence the 5 stars! But I have detailed each thing that makes this product worth the review. - Many people say that you can't really hold more than one card in each slot, but this is only partially true. After about a month of using the wallet, the pockets loosened up just a tad; nothing to worry about. This allowed me to store two cards (driver's license, which is relatively thin, and a student ID card) in the front pocket. I only have one card in each of the rest of the slots, but if you desperately wanted to put two in EVERY slot, then it's possible but it would not be comfortable and it would just defeat the purpose of having a minimalist wallet. - The quality is top notch (worth the price). It's top grain leather which is the highest quality type of leather. It's certainly durable and reliable. - The design is simple but incredible elegant! This wallet changed the way I carry things with me, and it has forced me to slim down but the rewards are worth it! You may want to read some articles on how to slim down your wallet if this is something you struggle with. There are many apps out there that you can store your information on securely and privately. Overall, this is a fantastic product and the results of going minimalist are well worth it!

Great value. Thin but durable. I have around 8 cards in mine and still holds 12-15 bills with ease. If I ever lose mine I’m coming right back here for another one.

4 star description 5 star wallet Firstly, this wallet cannot hold 8 credit cards in the provided slots. If you have embossed cards (most common in the US), it will barely fit 4 on the inside. If the cards aren't embossed, you MAY be able to uncomfortably squeeze 6 cards. The leather will need to be forced to stretch. The fit is so tight as it is that my credit card numbers imprint into the leather. You can see this in my photos, but the angle was adjusted for obvious privacy concerns. Bear in mind that each slot has only 1 embossed card and 1 non-embossed card. With 2 embossed cards the fit will be even tighter. You can also see my front pocket's leather stretching with just 1 standard non-embossed card and a business card. I encourage Vaultskin to update their description to a 5-card capacity as this is a more realistic number to fit without damaging the product. This is my reasoning for taking away 1 star. That out of the way, this is a fantastic wallet. The leather quality is above-average and has a great design. I appreciate the logo which looks sharp and isn't invasive. If you are deciding between a money clip and a pocket, you will want to get the pocket. The clips are easy to lose, break, are awkward when you are trying to sort through multiple bills, and don't secure cash all too well. This wallet is higher quality and just as thin. I would argue it can compete with some money clip wallets in thickness. Design: Cash exposure - Giving bills exposure about 1/4" initially bothered me. However, one of the ways pocket wallets wear out quickly over time is by opening the cash pocket and wearing out the stitching. With the cash exposed, it can be slid out easily without opening the pocket, prolonging the lifespan of the wallet. Horizontal Sleeves - Cards need to be slid in and out horizontally instead of sliding down into a pocket as common with most wallets. This is a good choice, in theory, to prolong the life of the wallet and contribute to a thinner profile. With less opening, there is less of an opportunity for excess wear to occur. However, the cards are a little difficult to remove from the bottom slots. The wallet needs to be shifted into an awkward position just to remove a card from the bottom sleeve, and if you have larger fingers it will be a chore. I only regularly use 2 cards, and one is on the outermost pocket so it suits my needs just fine. If you regularly use more than 3 cards it may be cumbersome. RFID protection - The protection comes from a film placed between the leather which folds from the outside of the wallet. If your wallet is open, or scanned from the side, it will still detect your cards. An RFID protective sleeve, even if paper thin, around an embossed card will not fit in the wallet. This wallet is therefore more secure than most and do well in general, but definitely not the most RFID secure solution out there. It will still do an adequate job for the most part. Overall this is a good wallet and I highly recommend it.

Buying this wallet, I honestly wasn't expecting much. I was expecting the leather to get scratched easily and to fall apart. It's been over two years and this wallet is amazing. The wallet is the perfect form factor for me, it has enough slots to hold my credit cards, ID, membership cards, and cash. The card slots on the outside of the wallet are a really nice touch, I put my frequently used cards in that slot. Overall a really great bang for your buck while looking and feeling of high quality.

Nice minimal wallet without sacrificing the necessary basics. Compared this with 4 other slim/minimal wallets from Amazon, and this seemed to not only be the slimmest in terms of thickness, but also height / width. I like that the cards are stored in horizontal slots so they won't fly out (which also helps make the wallet thinner than wallets with traditional vertical card storage), and the external pocket is great for keeping a frequently used ID or credit card handy. The leather feels decent and also smells good, and overall the wallet seems well-made and durable. The slightly rounded corners finish it off with a modern look that also hopefully helps reduce wear over time. Really happy with this wallet as long as it holds up - it seems much more sturdy than my previous wallet I'm replacing that was from a department store. UPDATE: Wallet is still awesome. Buy this wallet. I've had it for almost a year, and still looks like new. Wish I could add a 6th star. I've got multiple cards in a couple of pockets, and it has handled them well without stretching out too much or causing damage. Had held up really well and leather is still very nice with regular use every day.

Slim, minimalist, has never felt bulky. Perfect size and shape for what I wanted. Front pocket is super useful to carry my ID. Bought it in 2020, and is holding up perfectly. I predict it'll last me another 5 years. Please keep stocking it, because I plan to buy another one once this one gives up and it may take a while.

Amazon says I bought this wallet in 2017 so I thought I would upload a photo to show just how well it's held up under 3+ years of daily use. Basically it's like new aside from the creases that come from things being in it. There isn't a frayed corner or separated stich on the whole thing. Now I'm not one to carry more than one card per card slot but I can tell you that with just one card in each slot, they haven't stretched at all. For curiosity sake, I just removed everything from the wallet and then put just one card back in and shook it while it's open. It stayed in place. I'm never concerned that one will slide out on me without my knowledge. There isn't much else to say about it. I like the side load card slots. I feel they provide a more secure fit for the cards and it's not hard to get them out. The top load slots are easier to slide cards out of but that also means that they slide out on their own easier too. I also like the outside slot which is where I keep my ID for quick removal to show when needed which I feel is better than the 'window' slots. Not only do most places require you to remove the card for inspection, but I've never liked handing my whole wallet over just to show my ID and those windows always scuff up and yellow over time. This is a high quality wallet at a 'mid-tier' price. I would definitely recommend it.

Update, Dec 2023: Still great after almost 3 years of use! This has definitely proven to be a durable wallet, and I have never once missed any of the stuff I used to carry around in my old, bigger wallets. This was a good purchase. ----------------------- I was a little nervous about buying a slimline wallet, but I've been very happy with this. I like keeping my wallet thin, but this has forced me to slim my wallet contents down to the absolute minimum. The wallet is very compact and snug. There are two interior card pockets on each side, you can squeeze a total of three cards (or the equivalent thickness of other stuff) between the two pockets. The single exterior pocket can reasonably hold one card. The exterior pocket is great -- it's very convenient for a frequently used card, such as a credit card, ID, or bus pass. The wallet itself is very sturdy and shows little wear after four months. One of my concerns was durability, and so far it looks like that's not a concern with this wallet. All in all, this has been a good purchase. I half expected this to be a disappointment, but I'm very happy with it!
