Sophie Madison Women's Junior Fit Long Coat with Faux Fur Trim Detachable Hood

I'm pretty happy with this coat - I'm 5'7 and about 135 lbs...while I wear Medium shirts I always go for Smalls( or size 4s) in coats because I like them to fit close to the body. The small fit me perfectly. It is vert warm and the length is good. It's is pretty heavy (which I like; I dont plan to pack it in a suitcase or anything) and the material is really pretty. The pockets are angeled, thank god, but are a little shallow. The only down side to this coat is the fact that there is now way to make the hood stay up when it's windy. I just give up and let it stay down. :/ But Chicago winters are cold....

I just ordered this jacket (Size SMALL). I'm about 100lbs and 5ft 6in. This jacket fits perfectly! The sleeves come down to my palms, so I can still grab things without feeling like my hands are being drowned by the jacket.There is still room under the jacket for a base layer and possibly a thin sweater on top of that, however, this jacket with just a t shirt underneath is extremely warm. It's 32 degrees with rain/sleet right now and I couldn't feel any cold.I've noticed there have been some comments about how the hood doesn't stay on. At first, I could see why. However, after fiddling with the hood, I noticed there is elastic bands/ties on each side where the hood meets the jacket. All I had to do was pull these out and intertwine them with each other by my neck and the hood was secure and wouldn't budge. I am SO happy with this purchase. I bought it last year to wear to London (I live in California) so I am not used to cold weather. I was very nervous about London in the middle of winter so I did much research to find the best coat but not spend hundreds of dollars with one week. This coat kept me SO warm and I was never cold. I love the hood, it covered my entire head and the length of the jacket kept my bottom half warm as well. I still wear it during rain storms, I never use umbrellas anymore because this coat keeps me protective.

Love style of coat BUT ... although I normally wear a medium, Iordered the Large according to the size chart because I usually wear a heavy sweater in the winter and wanted to make sure there would be enough room. However, with just a summer top on, I could hardly get my arms in the sleeves or get it fasten.

I absolutely love this coat. It fits perfectly and is warmer than my old coat. I can wear heavy sweaters and big scarves under it and it still zips. The hood doesn't really stay up when it's windy outside but overall I'm happy with my purchase

I like it! :-) I am a size M/L 12 Or 14 depending on the fabric and style. I ordered XL and it fits fine except for the arms, these are a bit too snug. Also I wish the animal furr could be removed from the hood.

Warmest coat I’ve ever owned. I can walk my dog in freezing temps with a tank top and I have to peal my coat off because I’m actually sweating after a long walk. Trying to find more products or a short coat with this brand...not easy.

Sleeves are tight but fits everywhere else. Should order a size up but then it might fit too large around the middle. Its warm but hood covers too much of the face area. I still likeb the coat.
