I like this product a lot it's super bright and has lots of different lighting patterns to choose from. I just picked out the one I like the most and hardwired it into my pickup to a toggle switch in the cab. Been using it for the last couple years to plow. Works great great price as well highly recommended

Whenever I first saw this product, I was hoping for a little more substance than the other various strobe lights that I encounter on a daily basis. Wow did this particular product blow away any and all expectations! I am thrilled at the quality I got from this product that costs no more than the money in your billfold! The magnets that hold the strobe light in place are amazingly sturdy and I have no fear whatsoever of it falling off. The brightness was actually blinding, so you never have to worry about being seen. And to top all of that off, you find a place to run your wire in, and plug into your 12 V adapter or cigarette lighter, and turn it on. It is so easy to setup and install, and the icing on top of the cake for me was actually the various light modes that come preinstalled. Whether you’re a professional company or you just want a good, personal safety light for your budget, this is the one you want! My only desire for the product, WHICH IS NOT A COMPLAINT by any means, is that the cord for the light isn’t any longer. At 10’, it is a little shorter than I how I had hoped to run the cord, but I was able to make it work.

This is a great product for the price. I used to look at Xprite as more of a toy company than one making serious equipment, but they've shown a real dedication to improving their products over the years. I have another rooftop strobe from Xprite, which I believe is an earlier version of this same product. I got that one about 4 or 5 years ago, and it still works great. This new model has at least two major design improvements. One is the clear plastic cover. The old model had a clamshell design with two halves joined in the middle. This was prone to separating and allowing water to leak into the unit. The new model has a one-piece cover that eliminates this flaw. The second improvement is the cord length. I like to install this with the cord running the rear doors, behind the driver's seat, and alongside the center console. Having the cord come in the back means the cord is under less stress from the door opening and closing, and prevents it from draping across the dashboard, which is a safety hazard and a nuisance. The old model had a cord that was too short for this type of install. I ended up splicing an extension into it. But the new model has a cord that is a couple feet longer, which is perfect. This light is not quite as bright as others on the market, but I think it's plenty bright enough for my use. It's noticeable from a significant distance during the daytime, and it's too bright to look at directly in the dark. I also appreciate how they offer this in a two-color alternating format (red/white/red/white) instead of each side being one color (red/red/white/white). I don't recall that being an option when I bought my first one. My only substantial criticism is the mounting. The magnets seem weaker and/or smaller than on the old model. Xprite tries to compensate by having the rubber cover work as a suction cup, but this only works on a smooth surface. One of my trucks has peeling clear coat on the roof, so the suction doesn't work at all. It has stayed on ok so far, but I'm worried a freak gust of wind while driving down the freeway could knock it loose. I'm going to try and replace the magnets with stronger ones ASAP.

Had this strobe light for about a year and it has worked perfectly. The lights are very bright but not blinding as well as the magnets are very strong.. not saying it stayed in place at 120mph or anything but… it probably would. Overall good quality for the price!

This light bar is pretty darn good. It's super bright, has lots of customized patterns and holds up well to all kinds of weather. I didn't see the very bottom of the listing saying that it's not rated for highway speeds, and that's definitely correct...so I guess I can't really hold them at fault for that much, but it would've been better seeing that a little more prominent in the listing. For a very small amount more, they could've put much better magnets on it to hold it at high speeds. THAT BEING SAID, even being blown off my roof 2 or 3 times and wacking the side of my truck a bunch till I was able to stop, it still held up great!!!!! I went and purchased a much stronger magnet base and bolted it on and now it is fine (at least up to 75mph in a good amount of rain). All in all, I would purchase again, as long as I remember to put better magnets on it immediately.
