Spigen for iPhone 12 Pro Case, Tough Armor Case for iPhone 12 & 12 Pro - Black

Like some other reviewers, I drop my phone a LOT. Don't know why, but it gets smacked into doors, drop-kicked down the sidewalk, dropped on the ground, stepped on, you name it. Otterboxes were the only thing that worked, and I hated how thick and heavy my phone felt. I was skeptical of the Spigen, but it's lasted longer than any of my Otterboxes, it's WAY sleeker (my phone actually fits in my pocket and in stands!), protects my phone well, and even has a little kickstand that I use daily. Combined with tempered glass screen protectors, my phone has been completely undamaged, has an attractive look, and is completely accessible (the case doesn't interfere with using the screen at all). The case is also easy to remove if you need. The charging port and speakers are recessed enough that water from rain or other environmental moisture doesn't usually get in there. After 3 years, the finish is definitely worn down in the places where I hold it most, and there are nicks and dings where it's hit the ground, but unless you look closely they don't show up much at all. I recommended this to my mom who also has loved it for over 2 years. If you're looking for an all-around great quality protective case with a sleek design, look no further!

This is the 4th version of this case that I have bought. I bought this same version for my iPhone 8, iPhone XS, iPhone 11 Pro, and now my iPhone 12 Pro. These are excellent cases and I’m a contractor so my phone sees some harsh conditions. This is not like a LifeProof case so not water proof or dust proof, but it does protect the phone very well. Only real gripe is the raised rim around the screen can make certain swiping gestures a challenge but a solution I have found that should be done anyways is buy a glass screen protector. A glass screen protector (not one of this e thin plastic film protectors) is thick enough that it compensates for the raised rim of the case and makes swiping gestures a breeze! This case doesn’t have a built in screen protector so the case, plus a glass screen protector makes for a very well protected phone! I used to use LifeProof cases for the water proof features but now that iPhones are very water resistant, that was as big of a deal to need to buy such an expensive case. These Spigen cases are actually more durable than the LifeProof cases were. You can buy with confidence! Plus the little kick stand is a handy feature sometimes to watch something on the phone without having to just hold it! But the kickstand is only good for landscape view, it won’t work for holding the phone straight up and down which is a little disappointing but not a big enough deal to get upset over.

I've been using iPhones since they were first released and never had bought one with a kickstand before. This was my first, and it has surprised me how frequently I find uses for it. Especially with new iPhones and their incredible displays, being able to set up an iPhone on a table is incredibly useful. What I had thought might just be a gimmick has turned into a necessity--every case from now on will have to have a kickstand. On top of that, Spigen is quality. This is my first time using a Spigen case, and it fits the right balance I'm looking for between durability and bulk. It's not a huge oversized OtterBox and it isn't a hopelessly thin snap-on case. Instead, this case finds the sweet spot of providing good protection without overfilling my pocket. On top of that, the barely-rubber back is remarkable, having just enough tackiness on my fingertips to provide a solid, comfortable grip yet still smooth enough that it slides on the table. It's hard to describe, but it's clear Spigen went through several varities before, once again, finding the sweet spot between spongy rubber and firm smoothness. This is easily the best case I've ever owned for any iPhone.

This is the second Spigen case I have purchased for my iPhone. The first case lasted almost 3 years and I had zero issues. I purchased this case simply because I wanted a new case instead of purchasing a new phone. For the price you cannot beat these cases. They are durable and look good.

I was incredibly unimpressed with my iPhone 12 when I got it. I still am. It's just a newer version of the same damn thing Apple has been putting out for the past 15 years. But I had to buy a phone capable of 5G for my network, so that meant I needed a new case as well. I love this case. Spigen makes excellent cases, and I've been using their products for years. This is the best heavy-duty case available for this price point. Had the same type of case on my iPhone XR for several years with no issues whatsoever. But why is this the best case? MY KIDS HAVE NOT YET DESTROYED ANYTHING WEARING THIS TYPE OF CASE. That's why. My only gripe is that I wish there wasn't a stupid cutout for the Apple logo in the back. Everyone knows you have an iPhone. No need to go flashing it around people's faces. That hole for the logo is just for vanity's sake and serves no other purpose. I wish there were a version of this case without that cutout for practical people such as myself. I'm actually planning on 3D-printing something to fill in that hole because it bothers me so much. Four stars for an excellent case. Minus one star to remind me I'm using an Apple product.

Bin super zufrieden mit dem Case von Spigen. Trägt nicht zu dick auf, was anfangs befürchtet wurde. Kameralinsen sind perfekt geschützt, Display ebenso durch leicht überstehende Seiten. Das IPhone sitzt auch ordentlich und schön stramm in der Schutzhülle, sodass sich automatisch ein Sicherheitsgefühl einstellt. Man kann es trotzdem mühelos aus der Hülle nehmen, falls Bedarf besteht. Die Tasten lassen sich problemlos bedienen und haben einen guten Druckpunkt. Die Aussparung auf der Rückseite stört mich bis dato nicht. Solange man das IPhone nicht in der Tasche mit bspw. einem Schlüssel oder scharfkantigen Gegenständen transportiert, sollte hier auch nichts passieren. Sowas sollte man ohnehin vermeiden. Die Kamera steht nunmal auch frei. Den Standfuß habe ich bis jetzt nur selten genutzt, ist aber ein tolles Feature und erfüllt definitiv seinen Zweck. Habe die Hülle in schwarz und aus meiner Sicht sieht sie sehr minimalistisch und schön geradlinig aus. Bis jetzt habe ich keinen wirklichen Sturz hinnehmen müssen, habe jedoch immer ein Gefühl der Sicherheit im Alltag. Die ToughArmor hat mitunter die dickste Haut unter den Spigen Hüllen. Würde mir das Modell für jedes weitere Smartphone immer wieder kaufen.

Bought this one for my dad's iphone. I have the same for my Pixel. Excellent cases. Very durable and stays tight after 1000s of pocket insertion/removals.
