Expected rainbow effect, good shiny and colorful.
Model printed are Origami ball and Cinderwing Gemstone dragons, printed on Bambu X1c cool plateI didn't do basic calibration fine tuning, using default setting. ,but did fully dry filament.I tried printing different fidget toys, but those had issues getting loose. So I advise against high tolerance print. You make have better luck if you did tempature test first. The dragons felt weak at first when loosing, that I had concerns of it breaking. But it hasn't broken yet.Remember that this is a gradiant filament, so if you want to see more changes, have more items on plate. Notice origami ball didn't have much change. Dragons was having less effect as near the top.Color is still nice to look at

Tough to work with
I'm giving this 5 stars because as a filament, it's quality. The spooling is excellent, the materials seem quality and the color is outstanding. Some people may rightfully want to give this filament fewer stars based purely on how much of a pain it is to print with. Without a doubt this and its silver brother are the most frustrating filaments I own - very stringy at most temperatures, poor bed adhesion, high probability of curling - and this is after careful calibration. My failure rate on prints with these two filaments over the month that I've owned them is almost as high as my lifetime printing failure rate without them. The rumors are true: silk PLA is not for weak users. Expect to calibrate and recalibrate several times and expect to have to change those calibrations on a per-print basis for best results.

Beautiful Color and Top-Notch Print Quality!
The color is vibrant, consistent, and looks amazing on finished prints—exactly what I was hoping for. It has a smooth, rich tone that really pops, whether I'm printing small models or larger pieces.Print quality has been excellent. The filament feeds perfectly with no jams, and layer adhesion is solid. I’ve had zero issues with warping or stringing, and the surface finish is clean and professional-looking every time. It’s clear this is a high-quality filament, and it’s become my go-to for any projects that need a bright, eye-catching pink. Highly recommend for anyone who wants great results and reliable performance!

Most beautiful filament I've used.
After purchasing my first Giantarm silk I wanted to try a few more colors. I printed this rose for the lady and I'll tell you, I've never seen a more beautiful color. It changes color depending on viewing angle. I've been making a lot of lamps lately. Don't know why, just been on a lighting addiction. I printed this funky looking light and I just love how this color turned out. The rose I just printed with a stock silk profile. I dialed in temp, flow rate and PA for the lamp but I don't think it really improved much. I can't wait to buy more now. Check it out I think you'll be impressed if you like silks.

Great-looking silk gold filament
I was impressed by this filament. The silk gold finish looks amazing, though I did have to reduce my wall speed to 30 mm/s to get the shiny look. Printing with this filament was easy on a Bambu P1S. I appreciate the plastic spool because cardboard ones don't roll as well in the AMS. I printed it at 230C on a PEI plate using 55C bed temperature. It stuck to the print bed well and layers bonded nicely (even to normal pla, as seen in the vase print). I did have some stringing, but it was very minimal after I dried the filament overnight. My prints seem to be durable, though it is slightly brittle if printed with low wall count (which I've found to be the case with all silk filaments). I'll continue using this filament whenever I need a great silk gold look.

Great Deal for Quality and price
I’ve purchased several colors of filament from this brand and have not had a single problem yet with any of my prints (knock on wood)…. I have several rolls of the Black, white, Red, Brown, and now the rainbow color. For the price and the quality, I will definitely be buying more. My kids love the colors of the rainbow dragons I have printed for them, and have asked me to print random gadgets and small figures for them in the same color. I’m using the Bambu lab A1 printer with AMS, texture build plate. No issues.

Doesn't retract properly in Creality K2 Plus CMS, otherwise it's a very printable filament.
This filament prints very nicely. Not knowing anything about this brand, I took the chance, and I wasn't disappointed in how it looked or printed on my single color printers. On the other hand, I recently purchased a Creality K2 Plus, and while it still prints great, there is something wrong with the spool that makes it not retract in the CMS. I have all sorts of other filament, and I have had no other issues with feeding and retracting. I've used plastic spools, cardboard spools, and none of the others have issues. I tried it in all 4 slots in the CMS, with the same results. I tried several other filaments, thinking that it might be that there is something that changed with the CMS, and all other filaments I tried retracted properly. Obviously the edges of the spool were not grippy enough against the silicon rollers in the CMS, so I took a file to the edges of the spool to see if making it rougher might help, and that still didn't work. It is possible that making it smoother could help, but beyond the fact that I don't know how I would do that, it's too late now, after taking the file to it.I don't know what the cause of the problem is, but I have relegated this filament to only printing single colors on the K2, but I still have to manually spool up the retracted filament at the end.

Great silk filament at an awesome price point!
We printed a lot of small single prints with this filament as well as a few larger ones so that we could test/see the color change as well as to see how well it did over a few days in our machine. We had no issues and everything printed as expected. We also had no tangles and saw zero issues with stringing. We have already ordered our next roll in a different color!
