Is it possible to replace the internal battery(ies) present inside this UPS unit?

The specs of this unit say it uses 24v 9ah battery. My question is: how many batteries does this unit needs in case of a replacement? 1x24v or 2x12v?

Anyone knows what is different between the li and mi models?

Dear APC Valued Customer, The main difference would be that the BVX1600LI is not distributed in the UK. The other difference would be the USB port (for software monitoring) and the data line protection ports. MI has them and LI does not. So to put it simply they both come from the same BX version of UPS but the LI versions are just the standard ones. I hope this helps. Is this noisy? Does it have a fan?

Dear APC Valued Customer, The audible noise at 1 meter from the surface of the unit is around 40.0dBA. This would be comparable to a silent library. So it is not noisy.
