A: If you are talking about replacing a circuit breaker in a panel, that's not what this is designed to do.  Otherwise it depends on where the old breaker is located.  If it is readily accessible and mounted in a hole, home replacement should be possible.

**Q: My circuit breaker of 4.0 A got spoiled. Will this work in place of that ? I see this is a 5.0 A though, Thanks in advance.**
A: Mine was 4.0 Amp D-9. This one works as a replacement.
