## Description

Delphi's mechanical fuel pumps, which work with older-model carbureted systems, deliver fuel flow to the engine. It sits at the front-lower portion of the motor and the pumps are lever-operated. An internal diaphragm draws fuel from the tank through lines running the length of the vehicle and pushes the fuel into the carburetor.

Review: Garbage product - This fuel pump was supposed to fit a 1978 AMC 258. It will not bolt into the engine despite looking similar to the original part. I think maybe the arm is angled slightly wrong. It also felt frozen up and doesn't move freely like the old unit. Too bad i waited to install it and now I'm past the return period. Save your time, its junk.

A: Yes it’s perfect for the 258. Just what mine needed.

**Q: What’s the fuel pressure it’s put out?**
A: 5 to 10 pounds

A: I believe that it is 1/4” pipe inverted flare

**Q: Is this for thr buick v6 or the chevy v6?**
A: I have no idea. I used it on a Jeep truck
