While these are a far cry from fresh beans (as are any canned beans) it stacks up well in terms of taste and quality compared with other canned beans. Canned beans are one of the few canned items where I find the brand name options, such as these, are better tasting than the store brands. The small size is perfect for use in dishes such as soups, grain bowls, or any dish that you want to add bean flavor (and nutrition) but don't want large pieces. The price bounces around a lot but if you can catch it on a dip it's a strong value. Five stars.

These beans are very good but they are cut into really small pieces. However, they are perfect for how I use them, incorporating them into salads and certain pasta dishes. So far, in this 12-pack I have encountered no dented cans. A while back, I bought a different brand of beans and far too many cans had deep dents.

Green beans are a favorite at our house and these fill the bill. It is quick and easy to open a can or to fill out a dinner menu. A handy tip is to add some smoked pork for great flavor. Bacon works (cooked). I think a green bean casserfole will happen soon.
