Great value and easy install
Great kit for the value. Not difficult to install with the right tools. Fit perfectly on my sons 2005 Toyota 4Runner Limited. We did have to bleed his stock internal reservoirs and disconnect the lines since these struts and shocks dont sync up with the pre-existing stock system on the Limited. Ride height is perfect and the ride feels much smoother and is going to be perfect for getting off the pavement onto the dirt for some light offloading.

Not fancy, but it wakes up the 4Runner
Hey, just picked up this 3-inch Rough Country setup for my 4Runner, and yeah—she finally sits like she means it. The kit comes with the N3 struts and coils, so you’re not band-aiding tired stock parts. Ride is firmer than OEM but not punishing; potholes feel more like stern reminders than full-on punches. On dirt and forest roads, it keeps the body planted and doesn’t pogo, which is what I wanted. Install wasn’t scary. If you’ve got decent tools and a free Saturday, you can knock it out in the driveway. Do plan for an alignment afterward, and check your angles—3 inches on these trucks can make CVs a little spicy, so a diff drop is a nice add-on. Fitment on the 03–09 4Runner/07–14 FJ crowd is straightforward, and hardware lined up without cussing contests. Value-wise, it’s hard to beat for a full lift with matched dampers and coils. You’ll probably want better sway-bar links and maybe extended brake lines if you’re wheeling hard. If you’re chasing Cadillac plush, look elsewhere; if you want stance, clearance, and trail competence without nuking your gear budget, this hits the sweet spot.

The quality of Rough Country has never disappointed me.
I installed it in my 2007 Toyota FJ and it works perfectly. I didn't have to make any modifications. it fits perfectly to replace the factory suspension. it has a perfect hardness point and raised the 3" truck exactly as described

3 inch lift with 285/70/17r
It’s cheap it’s fast to install and it’ did exactly what I wanted. Which was to just fit bigger tires. I ain’t running this thing on crazy off road trails or anything so for that I’ll give her a 4 star.

Great suspension
Went on pretty easy. Raised my 2005 4runner sport about 3 inches and rides alot better then the old worn out suspension that was previously on there.

Smooth ride, effective lift
I've put about 5k miles on this lift kit and she still rides as smooth as a 1970 Cadillac Eldorado. I've done some offroading but she's definitely no pavement princess. I'd say it's worth the coin.
