Cooking with Shereen from Scratch: Because You Can!

Everything I have made has turned out perfectly! I have a library of cookbooks and grab this one over and over again! Can’t wait till book 2 is released!!

I watched Shereen on Facebook, and after following her while making a chicken dinner, I became an avid fan. Cooking was a chore, as I remembered recipes and trying to cook a variety. Now I have another resource to make great meals made easy. Most of all, in following the recipe, the instructions are easy to follow. When cooking with Shereen, I am never disappointed. Shereen cares this cookbook is a treasure because she autographed it.

This book is amazing! I am learning new processes like making pasta from scratch and building confidence and skills to take my regular day-to-day home-cooked meals to a whole new level! I thank you and so does my husband! I love the "Chefie Tips" as well. I am a fan and very pleased with this book from Ms. Shereen.

Good Cookbook...

I've watched some of Shereen's videos and have enjoyed some of the things she's cooked so I thought I would order her book. To my surprise there were only 2 recipes in the book that I had watched videos of. And it's really annoying that, I would say 70% of the recipes are 2-3 pages long. I appreciate the colorful pictures but a better layout would be a pic on the left page and the recipe on the right page. I've never seen a cookbook that has so many "continued on the next page" recipes. And most of the recipes that are in the book weren't anything I'd ever cook so I'm returning it. Will stick to her videos and write down the recipe from there if I want to make it.

I have been watching her videos and decided to order the cookbook. Some great recipes, but several of the items I can not get locally. I am excited to try those I can make when I have time. These are not quick recipes for a weeknight. I wish there were more of the recipes she has in her videos.

Firstly, I'm a huge fan of her YouTube channel but this book is a huge letdown for me and I'll outline the many reasons below:- Ingredients are not common to find and often expensive- Lots of 2/3 page recipes overly complicated and hard to follow- Strange mix of recipes, types of cooking ill never use. I've made lots of her recipes from her YouTube, but this book has a weird mesh of cuisines I'll never make.- Recipes are not everyday meals and too long/expensive to make.- Font type, size and colour is hard to read.Overall, big disappointment when compared to her YouTube channel recipes. I'm only glad that I got it on sale. This book has over 150 pages but I've only seen about 5 recipes I'd use.

Shereen’s recipes are easy to follow, delicious, and will have everyone falling in love with your chefie capabilities. Her recipes allow the ingredients to shine through without overpowering dishes with too many unnecessary spices or add ins. This is a perfect basic cook book that everyone should have, cooking from scratch really makes a difference in the quality of food you produce. I’ve learned so much through shereen’s Tiktok, I cannot wait to take my cooking to the next level with this book. It’s sleek, the pictures are beautifully done, and has an overall pleasant look to it. Couldn’t be happier, congrats to you Shereen!!!!

Das Buch beschreibt sehr gut, verständlich und unkompliziert die Arbeitsschritte beim kochen.Besonders gut finde ich, dass neben den üblichen amerikanischen Einheiten wie Cups das metrische System in Klammern steht, sodass man einen Überblick hat wieviele Portionen ca herauskommen oder welche Backform man benutzt ohne immer zwischen durch Google fragen zu müssen.In einigen Rezepten wird man auch dazu animiert hausgemachte Teilzutaten zu verwenden bzw es steht in Klammern mit der dazugehörigen Seitenzahl.Die Rezepte sind sehr gut ausgewählt und schmecken fantastisch.
