SimplicitySewing Pattern 4993 Crafts, One Size

This is a really cute pattern for babies or toddlers. I was surprised at the size - 50x60 inches approx. Its very time intensive but not hard to make. I have one almost finished and plan to make another. I am making the bear from primary colors in 12 different fabrics. It is for boy/girl twins. I would recommend that you have quite a bit of sewing experience before you tackle this pattern.

I had plenty of scrap material and wanted to make a blanket that wasn't a square or rectangle. I had looked at the pattern years ago and now with Amazon I could still buy it. Thanks

This is the sweetest blanket....I like that it can be made for little children and not look like a Baby's Blanket! I can see it as a wall hanging, crib, youth bed or a favorite blankie being pulled down the hallway....

This pattern makes the most adorable baby quilts! I have made 3 of them already as gifts and the recipients have been absolutely overjoyed to have them!

This quilt/blanket came out very well and it wasn't all that difficult to make. My great nephew loves the blanket I made for him. I had a hard time locating the pattern. I did get from EBay and not too expensive considering it is discontinued.

I would love to have this pattern but it is discontinued. Found it on ebay for a ridiculous price. Wish I could find someone that had it to share. :-(

These quilts are good for beginners. You quilt each piece individually so you do not have to quilt the whole giant blanket at the end. There are a lot of pieces to be cut out, which is time consuming. I made the bear and it turned out great. These make great gifts for kids.
