Q: does it come with a charger? is it compatible with a canon charger? I have a mark ii.

No charger. 100% compatible with canon charger. That is what I use. Fits perfectly in my 7D, same battery as a 5D Mark II.

Q: How well does it hold the charge with video?

Just bought 2 of these for the Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 4K. They only lasted for 22 minutes shooting 4k video after a full charge. My Canon LP-E6N batteries last for 36 minutes (and my Canon batteries are old and much used and recharged).

Q: I bought these in Cecember, 2012. One has died already. What is the warranty for these units? LP-E6? Thanks

I bought them on December and probably used them fully 2 or 3 times. I had no issues with them and they charged 100% on my 60D. So far I´m very pleased and they worked almost as long as my original one.

But still its good to have than none

Its a decent product of its value. 2600mAh sound much in compare to the original LP-E6N battery but it does not last as much as the OEM does. But still its good to have than none. It will easily give you 400-500 shots with full time IS and AF mode.I still recommend just to have one spear battery. Its decoded, hence camera does not warn you and shows all info including shots you have taken.If you must then better to buy EOM product.if you want to more info do mail at [email protected]
