Exceptional Load Transfer & Unparalleled Convenience
The DuoPower has rapidly become my go-to solution for all sorts of anchoring needs. What sets this product apart is its intelligent function: it's the first plug I've seen that adapts to the material it's being used on. Whether it's solid, perforated, or panel building materials, the DuoPower smartly adjusts to transfer high loads through folding, expanding, and knotting. In my experience, this plug is truly an all-in-one solution for a wide variety of building materials. The ingenuity of the 2-component plug lies in the grey component that automatically activates the optimal operating principle based on the material, while the red component's expansion wings ensure safe spreading. What impressed me further was its strength. Despite being compact and short, the DuoPower requires noticeably less drilling effort and shorter screws. It's thoughtfully designed to prevent slipping into the borehole, resist rotation within the drillhole, and offer tactile feedback when perfectly installed. The DuoPower anchors have proven to be incredibly versatile, working well for attaching everything from shower curtain rails to mailboxes, lamps, motion sensors, and signs in a variety of materials such as concrete, bricks, natural stone, gypsum plasterboard, fibreboard, and chipboard. From my perspective, these are the best drywall and multipurpose anchors on the market. They provide an excellent grip and are incredibly straightforward to install. I couldn't recommend them more."

Perfect replacement for cheap drywall anchors
Notable occurrence: since installing these, we had a 3.5 magnitude earthquake (epicenter ~1 mile from my house) and 2.5 aftershock. The guitar collection is still hanging up just fine. I recently purchased a wall-mount guitar hanging system. The rail-based system with movable guitar hangers was just what I needed to get a good chunk of my collection off the floor and nicely displayed. BUT the included wall hangers were utterly sub-par. Half of them were barely gripping the screw and even once a screw was fully inserted, they could be pulled right out of the drywall--hardly what I want with 16 guitars. And because the system is a long wall-mounted rail with evenly spaced holes, I didn't have the option of ensuring that I could hit multiple studs. and needed the drywall anchors to be pitching in. After looking through quite a few products I stumbled upon these. Rather than giving up on the system entirely, I simply tossed all of the anchors that came with it and replaced with these. It's now easily holding 16 guitars and feels like it would be able to hold twice as many (although I'm not going to try). No, this isn't the most exciting product out there. But if you're going to hang something up and rely on drywall anchors, it makes sense to use ones that will work. These do the job perfectly, and are notably better than the anchors they were replacing, so I have to give them 5-stars.

Best anchor hands down!
I use plastic anchors all of the time in my job and it’s so nice to find such a great product. Blows away all of my other anchors and it is the only one I am using from now on.

Great anchors, terrible packaging
The anchors are great! 5 stars for that. Packaging was a mess! They came in two small boxes labeled as 100 in each box that was also packaged with some shirts in a bag. When I checked to see how many there were, there were about 50 missing (I ordered 2 boxes of 100 and there were only around 150 that made it). They probably fell out through the hole in the bag. 1 star to Amazon fulfillment for poor choice of packaging.

Huh. The bi-material approach actually seems to be working. I'm actually kinda impressed.
Anchors for masonry can be a crapshoot. The simple extruded plastic 'cross-sections' either don't fit tight in the hole (because you wallowed out mortar too much), or get chewed by the screw going in and don't hold. Simple hard plastic ones 'snap' between the front ring and the back half if you overbury the screw. These actually seem to work due to the bimaterial design. Have in place in drills in both hollow brick and mortar, and both seemed to hold well (light weight camera mount). My go-to when I don't have good anchors is to drill, inject JB weld and wait for it to cure, then re-drill a pilot. Use the JB-weld as a 'formed in place' anchor. Which is a pain with hollow brick, not to mention introduces a 24 hr delay cycle into your mounting task. These look like they'll save me that effort.

Great for the money
Worked good in plaster walls.

Another Wall Anchor
There are many types of wall anchors. Some like "Molly bolts" and "Toggle bolts" are quite secure in hollow walls, but useless in solid walls. Some like "Tapcon", "RedHead, and "Strike Anchors" only work in solid walls. These DuoPower plug anchors are light weight anchors that will function in both solid or hollow walls. The manufacturer says they adapt to almost any material, or material thickness. They are a great improvement over plastic anchors. I have occasionally had various problems over the years with nearly all anchor types. The Fischer DouPower anchors have so far, been very well behaved. Consult the instructions for the best results. You will also need the correct size drill bit, designed for the material you are installing the anchors into.

Wonderful product, IF Amazon sends the right one.
This is a fantastic product. They work extremely well and versatile in a range of wall materials. If you see any reviews about them "falling out of the wall" that person clearly hasn't followed instructions on how to use them. I unfortunately am giving the product 3 stars since the Amazon fulfillment center can't figure out how to send me the right product. I've ordered boxes of (100) 1/4" duo-power anchors multiple times now and they keep sending me 50 anchors with 50 screws. Fischer, you might want to look into this. They keep F-ing up your orders. The boxes of 100 anchors and boxes of 50 pairs seem to have the same UPC code, unless one of them is incorrectly boxed. It's happened four times now. I love your products. If I could only get my hands on the right ones.
