Is this unit able to put a load on the battery dyring testing?** A: No, i dont think thats a standard multimeter function. You can, however, do a load test using this meter and a power resistor. You put this meter in dc volt mode, connect it across the terminals of the battery, then connect a load resistor in parallel (also across terminals of battery). Compare the open circuit voltage to the voltage under load. The voltage drop should be specified for battery type.
