Saved my cigars
UPDATE: It has been 1 & 1/2 years since I have purchased this humidor and I am not disappointed in my purchase. This product has been great for me, it has settled in nicely over the last 6 months and is consistently staying @ 68-72 % humidity which is keeping all my of my expensive cigars in great shape and seasoning them nicely.Thank god! I had a humidor for about 1 year that was terrible before this. It could not keep the box above 65 and always had to fill up. I had read up on all the reviews and decided on this one and i for sure was not disappointed. It was very easy to season for those of you who have never done it before there are two schools of thought. The first is to only put distilled water in a bowl or shot glass on the inside and let it stay for as long as it needs to (This solution normally takes longer). The other option is an addition to doing this wipe down the interior of the humidor with distilled water to speed up the process. I did it this way and it did not ruin the humidor. The one thing you want to make sure is to not over water the humidor. Only keep it dampen it.The wood had a great smell right out of the amazon prime box and it has been one month with one fill of distilled water solution mix after the original seasoning and it has kept right at 72% humidity. I have about 75 cigars in it now and it could hold more but i wouldn't recommend putting 100 in as it would be hard to keep them fresh.I'd be happy to answer any questions and would recommend this to everyone

So Nice, My Brother Took It!
My brother saw my Milano Humidor and decided he needed it more than me. Gotta love him!

Wow I wish I had ordered sooner!
I love cigars. I've been having such a hard time deciding which humidor to buy to replace the one I have that doesn't hold humidity well. The ones I really wanted were upward of $150 and I just couldn't pull the trigger. I finally decided to buy one that would just "meet my basic needs" meaning it had good reviews and was the right size. I also wanted one that did not have a glass top as I think they don't hold humidity as well. I decided on this model and didn't have any great expectations, but when it arrived it was much bigger than I thought it would be and the fit and finish especially on the inside was fantastic. It is a very solid humidor and it seals up nice and tight when you close the lid. For the money I paid I'm thrilled. It also has a key lock which is a nice touch. I use an Oasis xl electric humidifier in my humidor so I can attest to how the humidifier that comes with this one will work. Buy this and you won't regret it.

Meh... It Does its Job, but Don't Expect Heirloom Quality
You get what you pay for, and in this case a moderate price means a moderate product. Don't get me wrong. This is a functional humidor, but don't expect it to be an heirloom piece with construction on par with brands like Adorini ($300+). This is a humidor for people who have never bought a humidor before; buy it so you appreciate quality when you upgrade to an actual heirloom piece. The outside is OBVIOUSLY laquer-sprayed veneer when I look at it, and some of the seams between veneer panels are as much as 1/16" apart. There are even some micro bubbles under the veneer, which scratches easily. The lock is askew and a little sticky with the turn. This is an inexpensive humidor and not the humidor in which I store my cigars. I wanted an inexpensive, lockable humidor in which to store... other stuff. On a positive note, the interior seal is surprisingly tight for a humidor in this price range. It does the trick to keep humidity in the range where my other stuff is happy (52%-62%), but take it from someone who owns a high-quality humidor - this ain't one of them.

Best humidor for the price
Best humidor for the price !!I had this humidor for some time now and I was thinking of getting a larger more expensive one as i have a fairly large and expensive collection after looking around and thinking about it I decided to get another 2 of those instead of getting a large one as I know it is good humidor.Just make sure it is prepared properly before using it , at first it didn't hold humidity as I didn't give it time to get ready . The best way that worked for me is to get a new sponge saturated with distilled water put a smal plastic bag under the sponge and keep it on the humidor floor for 5 days with the humidor Securly shut .100% go for it , will not regret .Check out the photos .RegardsOmar

If you can find a better deal for the quality, I challenge you to do so
Awesome for the price! seasoned and humidified less than 12 hours and already holding a steady 72%. Tight seal, good whoosh, dollar bill and flashlight test also confirmed good seal. Now for the hard and expensive part, filling it up with my favorite sticks. As most other people have already said, replace the humidifier unit and hygrometer, as they are cheap. Spend $30 more dollars on a digital hygrometer and some humidity sticks or Boveda packs and you have an amazing humidor for under $100.If there is a knock to be had, it would be the packaging. I would like to see it protected with more than an 1/8 inch of styrofoam inside a cardboard box. That is my sole complaint.Would I buy again? Absolutely, and definitely considering it when I run out of space in this one.

is what it is
at a $100.00(can) bucks its a good deal, some what. it is 2nd with fixes. looks great if you don't get to close. it is my very first one, over all i like it so much i got its big brother. as for the seal and what counts. it is a very nice humidor. the seal is excellent and holds the cigars well. one my use this as a common go to unit with everyday cigars, and keep the better ones off to the side. or consider using for long term storage for the very spacial box you want to save and age.

First Impression
I just got this humidor to get away from my "thermidor" and have a nice display for my cigars. The package arrived fast and i am currently seasoning the humidor, so no comments yet on how well or not it holds the humidity (i will update). The only thing that i was disappointed with, is that there was a scratch on the top exactly where the key hole is. Its not a huge scratch, but it is visible and deep. I really dont want to bother with returns/exchanges but it's a bit disappointing as with that price tag i would have expected a better quality. Also there are some cracks where the hinges are on the inside of the humidor.

Best bang for your buck
Awesome 100 count humidor, got it seasoned in no time and it's been holding humidity perfectly, awesome seal. The only negative is it came with crack at the lock from when it was screwed in. But it's not leaking, which is all that matters. But I highly recommend upgrading the analog hygrometer to a digital and the green foam humidifier to crystals.

Excellent Humidor
I finally open the box, as I bought m cigars now to place inside. The only problem is that the Humidifier and the Hygrometer do not stick, there is no adhesiveness to these 2 units. It is dried out. The Hygrometer does not work at all. I did the salt water paste and place sealed the unit in a plastic bag over night. It did not move at all the next day, I tried it again for 16 hours and still no movement. I am using Boveda bags. the 2 units, i peeled off the back and tried sticking it into place, but it does not stick whatsoever. they are just laying on the inside top shelf. I will have to go out and buy another 2 units that will work and stick.

Not worth it
After a few years now, this humidor has revealed itself to be bottom of the barrel quality. The screws holding the hinges just sort of came off, and some sawdust like material came out of the holes. In such a dry climate it would be hard to collect mold so easily, yet this humidor would serve a better purpose in life by being a mold incubator. Then the veneer started peeling off - yes, veneer... This is not solid wood, it's all veneer covering up compressed sawdust with glue. You can peel it right off and see the IKEA-style compressed sawdust underneath. No wonder it couldn't hold humidity - yes, that's right, it can't hold humidity at all, and yet has no problem growing mold on its own - fascinating. Disclaimer: no matter what the description says, the "made in china" sticker on the bottom will hold up to its reputation. Made in china implies exactly what you think it means.
