Best oyster knife I have owned
Well I googled best oyster shucking knife and this one came up. It lived up to its reputation. It’s shucks them with less effort, and the blade is short and sturdy and appears strong. I used it a number of times and it worked well . Like the polypropylene handle , gives better grip I think. Nothing opens them like magic , except a lot of experience, always wear a protective glove to save your hands

Very good quality, fits your hand nicely

Works really great!
This is the best oyster knife I have ever had. The thick short blade really makes it easier to get into the hinge and crack open the oyster. The video I added was a really easy oyster but most of them were just a few seconds longer to do.

Accurate shucking, weak tip.
I own a high-end oyster focused omakse raw bar so if theres one thing I know, its how to shuck an oyster. I've tried many, many, knifes most suck, this one doesn't. It has a much tighter angle on the blade (especially at the point) so you are able to get into smaller openings much easier and sever the abductor muscle with ease, making it super accurate. However, there are trade offs, that tighter angle means it's much weaker and susceptible to breaking, it also means you can't open those larger oysters with this knife either. That's just how it will always be until someone figures out a way to bend physics or make a new material. Which I don't mind, I actually prefer to use a knife like that and just buy a new one every couple months. This is one of the better blades I've tried, its comparable to my favorite knife: Deglon 6-Inch Oyster Knife, Dune . This blade lasted me about a month, the Deglon has consistently lasted me about 2 months. Although, I would take that with a grain of salt (hehe) because there's a lot of variability there. I also prefer the handle shape of the Deglon, as does almost everyone i've showed it to, as it gives you much more control. However, if you really want to be precise in your shucks and like that traditional handle, i'm sure this will fit your needs perfectly. However I think the causal shucker would rather buy one oyster knife that can shuck every oyster and will last them many years to come. Thats this knife: Dexter-Russell (S137PCP) - 4" Galveston-Style Oyster Knife - Sani-Safe Series . I've bought one and had it for the past two years, using it almost daily, it's an absolute beast. However, it's harder to be more precise with your shucks as sometimes the more rounded blade wants to kind of push through things rather than cut through things. Moral of the story: Do you want to accurately shuck only small-medium oysters at the trade off of a weak tip? Get this knife if you want a tradition handle. If you want a handle that is a little bit different and in personal opinion better, get the deglon. Do you want to buy only one knife that will be able to shuck any oyster for years to come? Get the Dexter Can't decide what you want? Just buy all three, that's what I did and I definitely don't regret it. Although, I probably won't be buying this knife again, unless I get bored.

Works great on cold water oysters
I work in a restaurant and we serve anywhere for 4 to 8 different types of oysters. This oyster knife is created for smaller oyster and the ones that don't wanna let you in. I wouldn't recommend using it on a gulf oyster . But any other oyster it's great. I've used it on P.E.I , RI, MA, VA,AND CT oysters with no issues. Would recommend to any shucker out there. Lol

My favorite out of a dozen oyster knives
This has become my go to oyster knife. It's in my backpack now.

Excellent
I shuck dozens and dozens of oysters everyday for work and this Shucker has been a game changer. So easy to use, the blade is pointier than others I have use but not sharp enough to cut you, making it easier to break through the the hinge on the oyster and easily key turn it open. The shorter blade gives you a lot more leverage as well. It has only been a few weeks but so far it is great.

expensive
This seems to be a good oyster knife but I have used others that cost far less money that did as good a job or better. Still, I like this oyster knife.

The best oyster knife ive ever shucked with in Australia. The price though is a but extreme once you add the taxes, currency conversion and shipping.

I work in a restaurant in Charlevoix that serves a whole lot of oysters. Bought probably 15 shucking knifes in the last two years and this one quickly became one of my go to. Although a shorter blade that I'm used to working with it's pretty versatile and comfortable. I also prefer the knifes that have this finer tip. Will buy again. (We open so many oysters that we break a lot of our knifes, I'd say my average knife is good for 10-15k oysters and I truly believe this one will outlast that mark) Edit : It does last. Love the tip and overall feel especially with our east coast oysters. Great knife.

The favourite shucker of a coworker and myself. We shuck upwards of 50 oysters a day and this by far is the preferred tool. Thin enough to get in with easy, yet sturdy with enough leverage to crack any oyster (minus huge but those are monsters anyways)

l love oysters, raw & baked. Oyster shopping was fun, until l had to shuck them. Always afraid of accidentally piercing or cutting my fingers and hands. So l checked Amazon to see what they offered, made my choice with this one. Went out to buy dozen oysters, got home and was eating oysters in no time thanks to this oyster shucker knife design. Worked like a charm for me.
