Kala Teak Tri-Top Tenor Ukulele with Cutaway & EQ, Acoustic-Electric Soprano Ukulele, Mahogany Body, Ideal for All Skill Levels, Great Sound for Beginners & Pros

I have had my Kala teak tri-top tenor ukelele for at least a year now. It sounds absolutely gorgeous, which makes me want to play it all the time. It almost sounds like a harp when I pluck the strings in the right spot over the neck. The electronics and tuner are a great addition, and the price is very fair for what you get. My only small complaint is that the frets are pretty sharp on the sides. At least they are sharper on the bottom side and more towards the higher end notes, so it's not really a problem for me. I know I can always file them down a little if needed (a fret file tool is only $5-$10) so it's a non issue but worth mentioning. I do highly recommend this ukelele. I love it so much! It's so satisfying and easy to play, and looks great too! Kala is the best!

I first bought a caramel tenor ukulele and loved it so I thought a second uke with a low g string would be awesome too. I expected I would get better quality with a Kala but boy was I wrong. The frets were sharp, action too high. I returned it and got a second one as I thought maybe that one somehow skipped a quality inspection but no, the 2nd replacement Kala arrived and it was equally the same crap as the first. So I returned and got another Caramel tenor which I was as happy with as the first one I got. If this Kala had been my first one I probably would have given up trying to play.

Broke for no reason while being hung up on a stand, seller offers terrible customer service and will not replace it. When you pay this much for something it’s incredibly disappointing to have it break so fast for quite literally no reason. I tried to reach out they told me to glue it. Awful seller

I ordered the Kala cos I wanted quality at a reasonable price. I gotta say, this instrument exceeds all my expectations hands down. Absolutely delighted....more like love at first sight. Only thing slightly off, is the frets are a bit sharp, but a bit of attention with some sandpaper tomorrow and they'll be just fine.

I have several KALA tenor and baritone ukuleles (including an Elite), and have always been pleased with their quality. This one seems to have slipped through their QA department. It arrived with dents and scuff marks an the neck near the heel, and has a nasty buzz at several frets on the first string. I'm guessing that someone clumsily tried to set the frets deeper, and in the process banged up the neck. If i hadn't set out the shipping boxes for the recyclers, I'd have returned it.

Arriva un ukulele col cavo interno danneggiato. Prodotto in pessime condizioni. Ossidato e di scarsissima qualità e manifattura (contrariamente ai Kala prodotti in California). Come se non bastasse, attacco il jack e non amplifica!!!! Cavo interno danneggiato... siete vergognosi!!!

Do not buy this ukulele online, the quality of Kala ukuleles seem to be all over the map. This one was not nearly set up from the factory. Frets were very sharp, cut your fingers on them, and the neck was not straight. Cost me more to get it straighten out and frets done and Kala would do nothing for me. The seller however was very good in trying to set things right.

Poor packing or damage was made in the manufacture process? It is very visable and looks nasty...
