Dorman 926-854 Seat Bottom Cushion Compatible with Select Chevrolet/GMC Models

This is a great seat cushion and well constructed, the Dorman company does not provide threads in the bolt locations so you need to tap your own threads in 6 locations, 4 through the seat mounts and 2 through the back to base bolt holes , otherwise it is good firm foam and I love it , very comfortable, great aftermarket replacement!!

Awesome seat! EXCEPT as other have stated the mounting holes are drilled but not tapped.. only took and extra 10 minutes to run a 8x1.25 and 10x1.50 tap through all the holes. What a difference a new fresh seat makes!

I little tough to wrangle into place, but once it's there it both looks good and is a great relief on the butt after the broke down old cushion.

Good purchase. FYI, the bolts on the new base are not threaded, but you can re-thread them with the bolts that you removed prior to installing it.

This seat was amazing. I have an older work van and the gentleman I got it from spent alot of time in that seat and really wore it down. I was literally sitting at an angle and on the metal. This seat saved my back and made my seat feel brand new. Total life saver!

Item was correct, good match to OEM, but not a single mounting hole was tapped. Not sure if that was an oversight during production or they all come that way, but I didn't see anything in the description about having to tap my own threads. Luckily I have a tap & die set, but still an added pain.

This product looks nice but is difficult to install because some of the Threaded holes weren't tapped clean and bolts were hard to install. The upholstery was too tight over the foam so the back panal velcro strips didn't line up making a less than esthetic appearance and difficult to install. Product claims to be as good or better than OEM standards but it doesn't stay clipped to the framework, it tends to unsecured itself when you sit in it.

Seat is good the foam and fabric are good the only thing is the bolt holes aren't tapped do there's a little extra work to do. But otherwise great product

Color match was ok, metal holes aligned good but bolt holes are not threaded. The metal seems to be soft enough to allow the factory bolts to thread the metal. The issue I experienced was on day one after seat was installed the top layer of cloth material came loose from the foam. It’s a work delivery van so I am accepting it but if this was for a personal van I would have removed it and sent the seat back.

No thread as been done in the installation hole. I had to thread 8 holes. Disappointed they didn't take the time to do them . Quality of the seat is good but the holes for the bracket didn't have thread and was not align a 100% .
